I can’t remember where I saw it, but basically someone was talking about valve killing major stickers on purpose to get rid of the whole gambling aspect of the game. Same with the armory obviously. I think this is pretty useful to look at the Whole sticker market this way.

I would be careful with sticker capsule 2 since it basically rides on the crown foil. Crown foil has looked terrible for over a year now in cs2 compared to csgo. while it has prestige its falling off slowly and it might not recover.

I think, the problem is that back in the days not many people were investing to CS, but with the years going on, more and more people started to invest, when they saw for example older capsules prices going high (Kato14 etc.). But because many people investing now, there will be more of these available years later as well, so the prices wouldn't be that high.

I would personally go a few bucks in Vertigo souvenirs since the map is dropping out of rotation but I bought into some Overpass souvenirs during copenhagen and they actually depreceiated in value and I took a small loss over what I paid for them in the steam client so that's making me a bit risk adverse this time around but the M4A1-S Imminent danger is a really nice skin but you got a 1:4000 odds in unboxing one from a souvenir case.. The overpass souvenirs may go up in value though since it's the old collection and if Valve brings the Overpass 2024 collection in the armory to standard rotation once Overpass is released back into the major map pool but people don't unbox those often because of the really low odds to get a good skin from it and the fact you can't use souvenir skins for trade-ups. Valve should honestly just allow souvenirs to get used in trade ups to rally the market and get people to buy more boxes so it feels like less of a throw away spending more than a case and a key to unbox to get a worse tier skin.

@@maxzoRHD good man. I flipped some old esports winter and summer cases for a knife about a year ago. The knife has stayed the same, the cases maybe went up 5% since then. In the end I've had a nice knife to play with and get compliments on. Its not all about the profits if you actually play the game for fun sometimes as well. The optimal move is to pick up skins you both like enough to use for a while and also will be able to turn a profit that you can flip later.

Fracture is the longest standing case in the active pool meaning that we can pick them up close to the bottom, in a time frame close to when it'll be removed from the actives. it has a couple attractive knives with OG skins only found in one other case; Shattered Web, which costs $4. 15 times more. Fracture also has better skins that Shattered Web..

CS20 aren't active drop anymore. It has the classic knife going for it but a lot of people place it near the huntsman and gutknife so it's not as desirable as a butterfly or karambit but it's the OG 1.6 knife so it has that nostalgia factor and the Famas Commerative which is a nice covert skin for the gun and the AWP wildfire which looks decent. I feel like CS20 are a safe investment and will appreciate in value over time.

Hi so recently I sold my whole inventory (around 1500$) and bought roughly around 800 Dreams and Nightmare Cases for all of it, do you think its worth holding for the next few months, I know its volatile but my thought while doing that was that its the cheapest case which has a chance to drop a butterfly knife, although its an active duty case and it will be volatile in price but do you think its a W investment or L investment? what do you suggest? should i sell them back or hold for next 4-6 months?

Sticker capsule 2 = Crown foil, which looks absolutely garbage now, unless they change it going forwards...Just test a 4x Crown foil craft on an inspect server, you'll know what I mean. I don't expect the capsule to go anywhere until they buff the crown somehow. There are 3$ stickers that look better.
