@@its.ellegrace working as a Camp Counselor. This Summer is 10 onsite and 11 total (Covid shut camp down 1 year and it was virtual). Fun fact - I never even went to Camp until I started Counseling. My church's interim pastor was a Counselor and she was recruiting to go and Director of Children's Ministries (SS Program) convinced me to go my first Summer. Now the only ones from my church that still Council are me and my friend Danny (our AP).

im ten (11 when i go to camp) so it’s not as big as a problem but my bestie got hers when she was eight so now im scared lol. update: so i wrote this comment about a year ago and I am back in the video because im having PCD (post camp depression) lol. anyways i just wanted to say that i am 11 now (12 when ill be at camp and i am very scared for this to happen because i haven’t gotten my period yet but my friend from camp who goes to two camps said she started her first period when she was at her other camp so now im gonna bring pads this year just in case!

I watch a lot of packing videos when I’m getting ready for going somewhere or when I want to but I especially watch them when I think I’m done packing because I forget stuff very very easily so lists and videos and other people with better memory then me are very very important so for anyone planning on going on a trip here’s a great tip- have someone check what’s in your bag from top to bottom or if your going together check each other’s luggage it’s so so helpful

I’m going to Christian youth camp this year, I think my church is hosting it’s so it’s not gonna be huge like usually probably cause of covid too but I love watching videos while perpetrating especially since we didn’t have one last year it makes me more excited. It sounds like our camps are very similar! I am working in northern Wisconsin this year. Unfortunately I can’t pack a whole lot because I am flying in :( I am in,y allowed to have my phone at night as well, so I’ll probably bring a disposable and a polaroid 😊hope you have a great summer!!

I was once you girl, don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it I have horrible social anxiety but most of my friends were outgoing so it was a little easier to talk to them and once I felt comfortable it was easier. It might take a while but once you get to know them a bit more I’m sure you fit right in. Don’t be nervous you got this!

I could never bring a bin because in my cabin three years age there was a scorpion and a mouse or a rat can remember

same! they would always tell us to zip up our duffels or a mouse would crawl into it! i have heard many stories about mice getting into peoples stuff which is also why we are not allowed to bring food! it and never happened to me but i have seen many mice around the camp! we did have a squirrel and wasp infestation where i slept at one point which made me very nervous so hopefully that doesn’t happen again this summer!

nahh. As for the camp I'm going to, your cabin is like a quaratine group. So you won't need to wear masks in cabins and or around your cabin mates.
