I’m from Hawaii and love Eco Town. 88 Tees is a longtime institution, popular with Japan visitors. Back in the day they were a full boutique and carried collectors items and contemporary lines you couldn’t find elsewhere. In the 90s I used to buy a lot of limited edition adidas, silk cargos, little dresses, cropped jackets and embroidered items there. Also tons of their own T designs. Once Nordstrom and other stores came in, 88 Tees changed to mainly their own merch and way less variety, really that souvenir market only. I’m not sure if that was necessary to survive or if a different generation took over making the store. It’s not the same now but for visitors still good souvenir Ts. Happy to see you enjoyed yourself and I’m totally interested in those Marni pants now .

Hi! glad you are back making videos! Thanks for sharing these great tips! I was wondering, what size did you get in the loewe jacket? (and what size do you typically wear, what is your height etc.) I am trying to purchase the jacket but don't have a store near me to go try on.
@myclosettravels2 ай бұрын
I purchased a size 52 (men's) which was the only size they had! I could have gone down a size to 50, but because they didn't have one to try on I just went with the 52. I'm 5ft6in (~166cm) and typically wear a women's XL/FR42-44+ for reference. The 52 is still pretty roomy for me, and the style is generally oversized. Hope this helps for reference!

Is it that easy to get a Rolex in Hawaii? They have a lot of pieces readily available for sale?
@HJ601233 ай бұрын
Would love to hear more about this as well. I tried to buy a Rolex at CDG Paris Airport and they told me that I had to become some kind of member first and buy something else before being "offered" a lady datejust. lol.

@@HJ60123 oh thats interesting . I heard that’s how it works at most dealers. I would figure airports would be the easiest, can’t imagine people frequenting the airport boutique to build a relationship with them

@@jaymendoza7107 My thoughts exactly! I thought the SA was being ridiculous. Like seriously?? This is an airport location. lol. But then again, like with a lot of other luxury brands, maybe diff people get diff responses? who knows. lol.
