@@ziffofzeus Instagram, Damon or Dave recorded the organizer going off on participants when they complained about paying $9,000 staying in janky hotels along the way - one where there had been a multiple shooting earlier that week. I have been watching DDE before Dave came on full-time, when Damon had the Gallardo, seen all the rallys Damon has been on, you could tell before the video on Instagram there was something very different about this one. Damon mentioned he would be posting on the main channel soon enough...quite the drama.

It's crazy how much ingenuity humans have at harming one another but at the same time the levels of engineering that come out of crises, is awe inspiring. Those folks seemed like a genuinely good time to talk too about those tanks and other vehicles.

I've got to say seeing that many tanks from so many wars throughout history is powerful. I can't remember if it was Dave or Damon who said they'd love to learn more about the tanks. I remember when i was around 12-13 years old, my father was an officer in the Army and he was tasked with running the plant based in Lima Ohio where they built the first M1 Abrams tank. You bet your ass I got a few chances to rip those things through the on-site test track. It went like the wind, could stop on a dime, and can fire accrately while driving 45 miles per hour across uneven terrain. Absolute engineering marvels.

@@keycommander971 like in the the previous rallys, they would always have like evening dinners with all the banter, I get its a new crew new to rally life but still they made some friends who were cool, the 720 crew, the crew with the i8, the crew with the McLaren GT... Maybe they weren't down, i don't know, but this rally just had a funny feeling...but was still loving the drives...

The 'Duster' AA tank was built on the M24 Chaffee, the 75 mm gun on the Chaffee was developed for the B25H Mitchell Medium Bomber for ship busting. If you want to know about Tanks watch Chieftan or The Tank Museum.

@@100rapstar basically from what I got from the video is they paid 9k each and were provided with subpar accommodations when they were likely promised high end accomodations. When you pay for these rallies the money from the fee is supposed to be used for accommodations and events throughout the rally. This is why the gumball rallies are the way they are because you get your money worth with all the events/stops throughout the rally.
