To make the sound continue playing when you change the patch (scene), go to Menu -> System -> scroll down to Scene Remain -> set it to On -> hit the Write (if you want that setting to be permanent when you restart). It reduces the number of zones you can play at once from 16 to 8 - but it will continue your sound when you switch scenes.

that works. also if you use the Drum pads to change the patches it does the same thing with out cutting off the previous sound.

Roland fixed their pitch bend delay problem in their Jun 2023 update for FANTOM-06.

I just got this a couple days ago, and the pitch wheel modulation not being fast enough is not a good thing. It's going to make or break it for me, and I don't know if I'm going to keep it because of this. This is one of the main reasons I got it is for fast pitch bends, which the MPC's cannot do. This is not good at all. Can someone please let me know if there is an update very soon before I return this thing? Thanks...SBN RESONATE

I love the sounds of the board. The only thing I HATE is the slow pitch bend. As of late there is no update. They really need to fix it. It cost too much money not to.

Could you check if your Fantom-06 is bent? Put it on a desk and see if the center touches the table top. A friend of mine have sent 4 units back so far, and some was so bent, the controlls didn't function.

This keyboard have one big latency issue while changing scenes from one to next in SELECT and CHAIN MODE.. It doesn’t changes scene as quickly seamlessly

Did you try putting the tempo faster for quicker modulations, and/or have you found of a way around it? I have one coming in the mail right now, and I should get it tomorrow? Anything else I should know about, or that I should look out on? Thanks brother...SBN RESONATE

It's not the modulation it's the pitch bend itself. It's just a slow reaction compared to the Motif or Triton. Good thing this board is so much lighter than it's competition.

@@1masterfader Have you happened to find out anything about the slow pitch bend at all. This is crazy because that's what I got this thing for was it's sounds and pitch bends. I don't want to take it back, but is there any way to actually talk to a Roland representative? Have any of you ever done that, or what or where do you go to reach out for something like this? for ballads I'd use the classical piano with a pinch of a sign pad and verb to taste.

No, I believe they need to update the firmware or something. It does the same thing on everypatch.

I have that reported for more than 5 months and support can only say they sent the issue to Japan... Still no fix!... I'll have to change synth because of this, its impossible to play expressively something that needs pitch bends, and not only it's slow you can be out of tune because of it

Just change the pitch bend range of the patch in the settings. You should see the range there, and increase it to something like +2 because it sounds like it's only going up 1.
