I’m 8 weeks and my surgeon still doesn’t allow me to eat any carbs like bread, tortillas, pasta or rice. However, you gave me some ideas for when that time come!! I’ve lost 30 lbs so far

Hi friend ☺️ really oh nooo lol every Dr is different my Dr said it's a balanced between protein calories & carbs she never gave me a limit but she did gave me a break down of how to plate & portion my food, i dont really use a scale because its to much for me i just use the same bowl all the time lol this month on the 28th im going to be 6 months post op, I'm thinking my Dr will change my diet since every time I go she changes it lol I can't eat bread at all it doesn't go well with my pouch also the pasta but I don't deprived myself of the food i wanna eat i just choose better options to create the food i love 😊 but trust me some days are better than others some days i eat good but some days i barely eat....my bffs Dr gave her limits like she was only counting calories & sugars she was only allowed to eat 600 calories a day the first 3 months then at 6 months she was allowed to eat 800 calories a month now she at 9 months & she's allowed to eat 1,000 a day if she can but all Dr's are different 😉 omg your doing sooo good friend im so happy for you keep up the excellent work! What is your eating routine 🤔? Thank you so much for watching friend ❤️ don't forget to subscribe 😘

@@BeeAlvarado I eat between 700 - 770 calories a day. I eat 2 scrambled eggs in the morning for breakfast and 30 mins after, I make a protein coffee (which takes me the entire day to drink). For lunch I usually have a kale salad with homemade grilled chicken or will have something homemade. I eat less than a cup of food and most of my meals are no more than 300 calories. For dinner I eat beans or leftovers from lunch. In between meals, I drink protein shakes which have 160 calories. And of course water all day and vitamins
@BeeAlvarado Жыл бұрын
@@samluna583 thats good I barely eat about 600 to 700 calories a day I eat mostly salads with my protein & I drink my protein shake every morning & before i go to bed during the week, on the days I don't go to work I try to eat more protein but it's hard for me since I don't like sea food I can't eat meat yet but lean ground beef & the chicken sits heavy on my stomach it sucks I also mostly eat eggs & slices of turkey lol I try to eat regular food but is still heavy for me

I've done the surgery back in July 2020, in the first month I've lost 28.6lbs. Its not a quick fix, it's hard work and struggles esp with an eating disorder like emotional eating. So mentally u have to be prepared and sort that out meaning have peaceful sleep, distress etc.
@BeeAlvarado Жыл бұрын
Yup its a very hard journey, but ive learn as a go that no one can really prepare you for after surgery not sphycologists Dr's or family, it's a very mentally challenging & it can be very stressful but at the end of the day it's worth it! I feel like I gotta be patient with myself & take it one day at a time! Thank you for watching ❤️

Hiii friend 😁 congratulations, I hope everything came out good! Yeah it all depends on your body & Dr at 6 weeks my Dr gave me green light lol but I ate so little honestly I took 1 bite & that was it lol but I still wanted to share with you guys! Yes friend stick around ill be sharing more, I mean I'm not perfect i eat what i love but in moderation I don't restrict myself from most foods except like bread I just recently started eating sandwich bread & thin bagels but like once a week I don't wanna make it a routine lol but I hope to see you here often & thank you so much for watching friend ❤️

I’m one week post op today and this video gives me hope of being able to eat again! I’ve been on liquid so long I’m sick of them lol Does any of the food you eat give you trouble? Vomiting or pain? That’s what I’m most scared of when introducing solids… I saw your profile pic, amazing! Congratulations!

@BeeAlvarado2 жыл бұрын
Hiiii friend! Omg 50lbs it's a lot good job friend 👏 my Dr did say I will have some stalls & when that happens to change what I eat a little bit for example if I don't eat lots of carbs she said to throw in some carbs at lunch time for 3 days so that the stomach feels the change & it will help you loose more weight...I haven't done it yet but maybe you can give it a try 😉 thank you so much for watching & keep up the good work we got this!! 😊

Hi just started my journey my doctor submitted my paperwork for surgery. I just have to go through all the steps. My doctor said that I probably will have to get gastric bypass, not the sleeve. Did you have any complications? Was the recovery that bad?
@BeeAlvarado Жыл бұрын
Hi friend ☺️ congratulations that is amazing! I was able to choose between sleeve & bypass, so I chose the bypass, I had an amazing experience no complications thanks to God, everyone's body is different so just go with what your Dr is recommending you, the recovery wasn't what I expected, honestly i was scared but it went smooth! I feel like the only thing for me was sipping on water I still to this day wanna gulp & thats a big no no you gotta take it slow & sip on water & not being able to drink coffee for 6 months lol, good luck on your new journey & just be patience! Keep me updated! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

You don’t weigh your portions? How many ounces are you consuming per meal? I’m almost 8 months after surgery and still weigh each meal. I’m at 6oz per meal right now. How many calories do you consume a day? Also where did you get the chicken strips those look delicious and the calories and protein are pretty good. Thanks for sharing!
@BeeAlvarado2 жыл бұрын
Hi friend ☺️ sometimes I do but sometimes I'm rushing so I don't measure but I can only eat about 4oz of food that pink spoon I used to pour my food takes about 4oz per spoon so it's easier for me to just use the spoon 😉 im only taking in 600 calories a day im allowed to eat around 20 to 30 carbs a day but most of the time I eat around 15 carbs a day 😀 omg those chicken strips were bomb I got them at Walmart they were like 7$ or 8$ I found in the frozen section were they have all the "healthy" frozen foods is at 😉 so how has it been for you after 8mths post op? Thanx for watching friend ❤️
@valleyval72 жыл бұрын
@@BeeAlvarado I’m definitely going to look for those chicken strips at Walmart. Thank you! It’s definitely gotten easier as time goes on but it’ll be my first holidays post up and there’s a lot of saying no thank you I can’t eat that and I don’t drink anymore… so it’s going to be tough because I wish I could eat all that and I’ve ALL those drinks! Lol 😝 but I do LOVE my progress so that keeps me motivated. ❤️

I’m currently 2 months out can only eat 2-3 bites I’m not a big protein fan . I’m still having trouble with food my choices are very slim right now meat is a thing of the pass for me it’s to heavy to consume. So I basically drink my day away idk why I can drink so much and eat nothing . But I stay hydrated water & sugar free drinks saves me from starving.. I know my diet isn’t the best but it works for me my HW- 380 BSW -321 CW - 273 GW-180
