If you cut the pomegranate in half turn it upside down and whack the top with a spoon kind of hard all the seeds will fall out and you don’t have to pick them underwater

Thanks for this Lucie, it's pretty difficult to think of new dishes all the time as a vegan, your videos definitely provide the right impetus to think of new dishes, last week I ran out of inspiration and in desperation threw a few things together and created a new dish, it turned out quite nice though, told a few friends about it and they quite liked the idea, they've already asked for its recipe (which I don't quite remember!) - You mentioned you ate identical meals for 2 days, is that healthy from a nutritional perspective? I did it for a few months a few years ago (it wasn't intentional, I don't even remember why I did it!) I had quite a few nutrient deficiencies post it (I don't think I did it properly though, I ate a few bananas and lots of oatmeal, that was pretty much it, lost a lot of muscle as I didn't consume enough protein, my nutritional knowledge was pretty basic back then) By the way, you vegan these days? Ditched the dairy haha? Hope you have a brill weekend Lucie ! Any chance you could do a video about L-Glutamine too? Thanks!

So glad this could be helpful Pranav! While I do encourage variety, eating the same meal a couple of days in a row for practical reasons is absolutely fine. I wouldn't do that for more than a few days though!

Love your what I eat in a day! I am a pretty regular, healthy eater - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But I have to eat a rather early lunch and by the time I get home, I really need a snack! Are there some healthy but satisfying suggestions for a snack “meal”?

Lucie, any chance you could do a monthly video that's a little fun and not too focused on nutrition? Like 'The Best Parisien Restaurants' or 'The Best Parisien Bakeries' ? Even maybe like 'France's Different Kinds of Breads' - People think that the French only eat baguettes, and that ain't true at all, there are millions of fine breads that are found all around France ! Merci Lucie - D'ailleurs, tu connais l'émission 'Très Très Bon' ? C'est pas mal, ça pourrait t'intéresser ! Faut que j'arrête maintenant, j'ai déjà trop écrit haha (comme d'habitude)

Still in season in Southern Europe, never in season in the rest of the continent... we’d be stuck with apples from October to May trying to eat only seasonal, local fruit.
@Edukalebylucie2 жыл бұрын
The video was filmed end of september and they were still in season! Even though I try my best, I don't always eat locally and in season. As @pavotrouge said, sometimes the options are very limited and as a vegetarian and big fruit/veggie eater I value variety...it's a tough balance! :)

Does broccoli not have the anti-cancer enzyme if I buy it as frozen broccoli cuts and cook it straight from the freezer?
@annariedel37212 жыл бұрын
Even better way to marinate tofu is to freeze it overnight and then squeeze out the extra water. It becomes a sponge and soaks up the marinade. Thanks for the great ideas Lucie!!!

If you cut your broccoli when you buy it does the enzyme last or is it good to keep it whole until 30minutes before cooking?

Final comment for the week Lucie, promise (think I'll have to take a break from your videos at this rate, I write way too many messages to you haha) Anyway, j'ai écrit quelquechose bête/drôle aujourd'hui, c'était pour mes potes, mais ça pourrait t'intéresser aussi car je parle des 'oat cookies' Du coup, c'est que j'ai écrit, j'espère tu le trouveras drôle et pas bête (c'est trop bête a mon avis, mais bon) Connais tu des chansons qui parlent de la nourriture d'ailleurs ? Ça pourrait être intéressante dans une vidéo non? "Everyday I eat a few oat cookies, and when I eat them I call them 'oat cookays' the way the French do! It makes them taste better (I know it can't, it does though haha) Try it out you lot! 'It's raining outside today? Who cares, all I actually care about are my oat cookays - Think I might make these cookays for a few food fairs, one that eats these cookays is one that dares, you can even feed it to ze teddy bears, they're for everyone, not only those with airs, they even ensure you don't lose hairs, and they prevent nightmares, they promise you no more tears, eat them alone, eat them together in pairs, but whatever you do, eat them oat cookays, things this delicious are extremely rares, they're even more beautiful than ze clothes ze French wears' - The English ain't perfect in parts of course, poetic licence to make it rhyme, I tried to ensure I wrote it in a way a French person might write it haha! What do you lot think? You Team 'Who cares!' or Team 'Cookays' ? Don't know if oat cookies do the things that I've promised nutritionally though haha, do they? The B Vitamins probably do a few of those things though - J'ai fini, t'inquiete, t'inquiete, et désolé en avance pour avoir écrit quelquechose bête haha, j'ai pensé tu pourras le trouver un peu drôle, c'est tout
