Hope you can get an early time slot (before Monday 7:30 pm) for your housing lottery in March and then you can get a room at West Main. The general consensus is West dinning is superior to Morrison and North Star.

I'm just watching this because my wife and I are going back for a reunion soon and I wanted to see the dining options ( which are *very* different than when my wife and I we were there and even quite different than our last visit in 2014 ), so I wasn't planning to comment, but now I have to comment to lend my support to your position on oatmeal raisin cookies.

OK, one more comment in response to what you said about Okenshields. It's nice to know some things have not changed. I graduated more than 30 years ago, and we called in Okenshit and Chokenshields back in the day.

Hi can the public come there to eat? I've heard conflicting info on that. Someone said you need a pass to get in, but generally most students will scan you in on their pass if you ask?

Since I just got accepted to the Brooks Public Policy school I’ll probably be doing their policy analysis and management (PAM) major. I also play multiple instruments so I’m hoping I can do something with music even if it’s just as a hobby. What school are you in at Cornell?

How many eating halls on campus and how long to they stay open during the day & weekends. What happens they have blizzards or ice storms where do people eat if they close classes and campus? How far is to go into town to a restaurant or store? I always see video with very little activity visable people walking around is there very few people on campus looks so isolated? How dangerous is it to walk around when weather is icey snowy...im come from a southern state which there is no ice or snow. Is there medical help on campus or how nearnest hospital? Is there a kitchen in the dorms? Do dorms have restroom & baths in rooms?
@mollyb._ Жыл бұрын
hi! there are around 15 dining halls all throughout campus and they stay open until different times but usually close around 8-9! If theres a snow storm people will uber eats food to their dorm but honestly the weather hasnt been that bad for that yet! Theres collegetown which is a 20 min walk from north campus, ithaca commons which is a 20 minute bus ride, and the ithaca mall which is also around a 20 minute bus ride! As for the isolation on campus, I would say its not isolated AT ALL! for these videos I purposefully make sure I film when cafes, dining halls, and the streets are empty as I do not want to film anyone without their consent first! But usually the campus has a ton of people walking around! The streets are salted very well in winter so it isnt too dangerous! its just important to get good snow boots and try not to walk in sneakers as its very slippery. We have cornell health which is located on campus (near clock tower) and Cayuga Medical Center is a 15 minute drive away. Dorms usually have 1 kitchen on the bottom floor with an oven and everything but some dorms have 'kitchenettes' that have a fridge and a stovetop. every dorm has restrooms and bathrooms! in my dorm its 5 people sharing a bathroom/shower!
