Fun fact- I only found this out a few months ago but you actually don’t need to rinse your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, it defeats the purpose of putting them in the dishwasher if you’re pre rinsing them, and it also wastes water by doing so. You only need to make sure all the food is off the plate or bowl etc and the dishwasher actually cleans and does the rest as dishewasher pre rinse dishes before it actually washes them. Although I’m a hand washer myself and we have a dishwasher we actually never use our dishwasher on a daily basis (personal preference though), we only use it to give all our cups and dishes a nice shine every few months as bowls, cups, plates etc accumulate dust over time in the cupboards as unless you have a huge family you’re not using every dish you own everyday, so it’s good to give them that shine!
