So for onions, you need a wet paper towel and you put it right on the cutting board next to onion and it soaks up the juice from onions and you dont cry. Its amazing, I do it all the time.. 😊 hope it helps, sending love from Croatia ❤️

Your videos are the most relaxing time of the day! And the meals…ah, great! About the onions and the tears- just put the onion in the fridge until it’s cold and then when cutting it- not a single tear 😄❤️

Use any citrus essential oil diffuse it out on the cutting board when you cut onions

Onion fumes go to the nearest water source. So I lay. Wet paper towel next to where I cut and I keep a small glass full To the top with water next to where I cut as well.

Good evening Chelsea. That looks absolutely fresh and delicious. I usually like to start my day with a healthy salad - preferably a Cobb - which as I'm sure you're aware is a main-dish American garden salad typically made with chopped salad greens (iceberg lettuce, watercress, endives and romaine lettuce), tomato, crisp bacon, fried chicken breast, hard-boiled eggs, avocado, chives, blue cheese, and red-wine vinaigrette. That being said, Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Tuesday.😉😉😎😎

When cutting onions, I tried quite a few things (putting them in the freezer for 30mins, cutting them under water, lemon juice etc.) the only thing that helped was my ski goggles! They sit tight and flush against your skin so the acid can’t get around them into your eyes like it would with sunglasses 😊 If you have any lying around it would be worth a try!

Best onion hack: cut the onion in half lengthwise (tip to tip), leave the root end alone, chop off the tip, then peel the skin on each half, then chop from that point! I think when you cut both sides off right away, the chemical that makes you cry is released, so highly recommend trying a different way!

Put a damp paper towel by where you are cutting:) the paper towel, absorbs the moisture and pulls away from the eyes. It doesn’t work 100% but it definitely helps.

Glasses do help but washing your hands and the onion after you peel it is also better. I can say after some years of doing it every day twice a day your eyes get used to it more. My husband is much more sensitive to them because he cooks less =D

Sit a damp paper towel next to you while cutting onions, it absorbs the moisture from the onion (or something like that) and it really helps! Edit I realize I’m the 84th person to mention this so it’s definitely full proof lol

If you leave the root on and cut that last. You will not cry. That's the part of the onion that makes you cry. According to a Gordon Ramsay Video I watched lol
