Thanks for sharing your experience. Always felt there was a thin wall between cruise staff and guests until I initiated a conversation with a very impressive guitarist in the gym that I remember from another ship. He told me he was covering for someone else this time during his “vacation” time. I could tell he was very happy that I remembered him during his previous cruise contract. Thanks for all the work you do.

I used to work on Freedom (2014-15)!! I would take the raw broccoli from the salad bar and put it in a bowl of hot water, cover with a plate and then wait for my blanched broccoli! I'd also fill my pockets with hard boiled eggs for my late night snack.... but don't let the cabin inspectors know you've got thoseee lmao. We did drydock where it was tough to find anything but ramen cups during the 3am fire watch. Thanks for sharing your stories, really takes me back!!!

The plight of all hard working young people is getting food when you can, if you can. In the early part of my career, driving from one place to another it would be McDonalds quarter pounder with fries and drink. First chowed down the fries before they get cold then the burger and washed down with the drink. All while driving! Impressed you tried to keep up some sustenance but oh boy, some things never change. Very good video!

your crew mess options def remind me of my college dining hall situation and also the way you guys lining up for the patties reminded me sm of pretzel day in the office!! You should def try beef patties with coco bread the way they're meant to be eaten when you get the chance! And whenever you're in fort Lauderdale or Orlando and you have time you should try Golden Krust it's an amazing jamaican owned and operated franchise that specializes in beef patties (hence the name lol) and has a ton of other great jamaican dishes

Love you vlog! We just went on our 2nd cruise. We appreciate so much all of the staff . I have a question though about the bread. We were on harmony of seas for 7 nights and i couldnt find a single peice of reg sandwich bread lol they had delicious looking sandwich material but no soft bread. It wasnt a big deal. But i thought it was strange. I have a lot of stomach issues and can only eat a few different breads. So i just didnt eat the bread because i wasnt sure what kind it was. But it was all hard as a rock lol

I am a retired dancer (ballet). I could not have eaten most of the food on board. My digestive system would have most definitely rebelled. I give you all credit for having such strong stomachs. 👍🏻

And passengers how do you feel about passengers do you enjoy when you get smiles from the passengers after the hard work to entertain, is it still fun or rewarding. Last question how often have you personally experienced a bad passenger that maybe was rude or disrespectful if at all . I do still enjoy the job! Getting to perform is such a blessing though I do miss home! and I love meeting guests!! To be honest I rarely have a bad interaction with guests but that’s probably because my job isn’t as guest facing. I’m sure guest services deals with a lot more of that!
