you dont necessary have to wash mushroom as it is a fungi, which if it gets wet it can never fully dries and decreases the flavour of the mushroom, you can just dab them with wet cloth instead. it probably wont effect your pasta as yours were very flavourful but if you were to sauté it to eat with your eggs or with bread, it will create a very watery dish instead, just thought i'd let you know!
