@@dennisgolden7596 Yeah the emove cruiser is a great scooter. I would have chosen it over the ghost if it would have been a better hill climber, and it would have had better construction quality. For me it came down to what my commute was like. I have a couple of steep hills, and so I went with the more expensive ghost. I don't regret it at all though. It's a wonderful machine, and the build quality is infinitely better than the cruiser from what I've read.

New owner of a Ghost here! Five days of riding, 105 miles so far. Loving it! Curious if you ever ended upgrading your tires and if so to what and how did it feel? I've read of people putting the Phantom tires on the Ghost. I like the tread pattern on the Phantom tires.

I enjoyed watching your videos one question. Is it safe riding in the roads? I only ride my scooter on roads when there's no vehicle I only use sidewalk I think is much safer. Also what music are you playing? Im really trying to find that music but no luck good thing your playing that music. Thanks buddy! Oh my scooter is Mercane MX60 I love my scooter I'm using it to work because gas prices is way to expensive.

May I ask why you have not added mirrors to your handlebars so you can easily see when a car is dozens of feet away, allowing you to move more to the side than usual to indicate you're letting them pass? For me on my non ebike doing regular speeds a left mirror at least is essential. When I see a car approaching I hug the curb as closely as I can as many of my roads are narrow but just wide enough to allow a car to pass me. Of course you can do 3000 miles safely twisting your neck all the while I just think a mirror is pertinent. Don't have my own escooter yet but I was thinking of buying a cheap strap mirror for when I ride Bird rentals.

@scootscootpev2761

GoPro Hero 7. There are times when the data goes haywire, like if I ride next to a wall, but for the most part it does well. Thanks for watching.
@EricMarenyi
@EricMarenyi 2 жыл бұрын
@@scootscootpev2761 I get that you use a GoPro but do you use additional software to read the telemetry data? I did see where it goes haywire sometimes. I was watching one of the videos earlier today and you were stopped and it said you were doing about 400 miles an hour.
@scootscootpev2761
@scootscootpev2761 2 жыл бұрын
@@EricMarenyi So it gets a bit technical. GoPro, in my experience, is good at hardware but their software is different. For short videos, about 8 minutes and under, I can use the GoPro desktop software. They have it as a free download on their website. For longer videos I can really only show speed and grade without going through a process of connecting the telemetry data together which I don't do. So I use Shotcut editor for longer videos. Hope that answers your question.

So the bumps sound loud and a bit (rickety) do they cause damg or make it unsafe ? are you able to hit them like a small jump, just plow them over are or do your best to avoid? does your handlebar stem bend back at all?
@scootscootpev2761
@scootscootpev2761 2 жыл бұрын
Good questions. Stem can be creaky, rubbing a little lube in the right spot will stop stem creak noise. As for bumps I try to avoid. I think over time bumps add extra stress to the scooter. If I can't avoid the bump then I definitely hit it like a small jump because honestly I think it is easier on the scooter in a way - kinda going with the flow. Thank you for watching. Scoot scoot!

Good tips, however, I'm not that afraid of cars. Of bumps in the road neither, cause I see what's coming and I'm not going fast enough on bad parts of the road should I fall to happen something terribly. I'm driving mine now for two days, the Obarter X1, (1000w engine) and it feels like a bike, bike rules, so no reason to be afraid of cars. I have no helmet, and knee- or elbow-protection. I know what I'm doing, learned it the hard way. (luckily, I'm here to tell the tale, others not so much) The best piece of advice I can give you is to drive defensive. The better you are at driving defensive, the less chance there is something that can happen. I would also not drive above 35-40km/u, cause that's the point where you realise if something happens, it's gonna be bad. I don't see a point in going faster then 30-35km/u, can have to do with the particular step. That's my tips.
@scootscootpev2761
@scootscootpev2761 2 жыл бұрын
Good tips. I wish I could say the same about cars, but where I ride accidents happen. Glad you are here to tell the tale, and watch the video. For me I think under 30 mph is the speed I like. Roads conditions have to allow for speeds close to 30 and beyond. I can understand not wearing all the safety gear but even not wearing a helmet? That's gutsy. Thanks for watching. Scoot Scoot!
@Countless_Relics
@Countless_Relics 2 жыл бұрын
@@scootscootpev2761 Yep, just be careful. About others, yes, it's not always you. But here's the thing, if you learned anticipating cars you don't know what they're gonna do, it's good. For example, when driving a step (or bike) on the biketrack, and there is a car driving next to you, I let it pass so I'm behind it. Why? Not sure it has seen me, and some cars turn right, to take a corner at an upcoming crossroad you might not know. It also creates some kind of tension, which now that I think sbout, is signaling potential danger. So off goes the throttle, to see what happens and when the situation is clear, on goes the throttle again. Anticipation on stuff like this, will save you. There can always happen something, but staying under that 35km/u, is the key.

Does any1 here know if ALL solid tires on e scooter, sound like metal grinding on the road when riding? Mine sounds fucked and sometimes when I come steaming along, people get scared and look behind. Probably expecting a drunk driver to crash in to them but no, it’s just me on my crappy embarrassing scooter. I have a better 1 but have front flat tyre. I found a new 1 but as I could only get 1, I’m going to buy tubeless green slime and try that first. Wish me luck.
