Greetings from Canada! Unfortunately, I had to work until noon today. I made it to my local store after work at my local mall. My local store was a MAD HOUSE!!!! It's a smaller store and not a White Barn store so it gets pretty crowded quickly. Considering it's a smaller store they looked like they had almost everything available. While I was waiting in line there was also a casualty of a candle. My store had all the body care candles except for Sweet Pea which is the one body care candle I wanted. That one apparently never made it to Canada. I picked up Vanilla Balsam, Happy Hanukah. No one was looking at that one at the corner of my store. I learned casual BBW candle consumers shop with their eyes instead of their sense of smell. I also picked up Pistachio Toasted Vanilla and Caramel Frappuccino. I'm glad I had picked up some of others prior to Candle Day like Hot Cocoa & Cream and Hot Peppermint Chocolate as these looked like they were sold out. Lavender Marshmallow to me smells like Pink Lavender Expresso which I already have in my collection so I decided to skip out on it. I was not going to shop this weekend, but I'm glad I had done so. Next year I will try to go early as it was CRAZY!!!

Day 2: I did 2 hot pink cocoa and 1 caramel Frappuccino. Caramel frap is definitely giving Starbucks imo. I have hot pink cocoa under the warmer now and I like it. I really wish Blackberry Creme Frosting would come back. I couldn’t find “To All a Good Night” either day. That’s the only one I didn’t get off wish my list. Now I’m done ; I already have plenty of candles that I need to burn through.

I skipped yesterday and went into 2 stores this morning at opening to get all the candles I wanted and I had a 20% off coupon! I backup up the Murano collection (passed on the macadamia one as it smelled weird and very light) as you don’t know if they will be coming back. I also picked up another Paris cafe. Happy Candle Day!

Mine has no French toast. The one I wanted out of all of them. But I did get two pink cocoa. It reminds me of the positively sweet candle . But the cherry note they have in that candle without the chocolate.

My store is the only one within 2 hr driving distance, and like last year, they were not fully restocked today at open. Sellouts yesterday were The Perfect Winter, Merry Mimosa, Sweet Whiskey, The Perfect Christmas, Candy Cane Colada, Tis the Season, Tree Farm, Peppermint Sugar Cookie, Fresh Balsam, Golden Berry Mistletoe, Fresh Cut Lilacs. all the fall candles that were left. A lot of space was being taken by the remaining holiday traditions collection to fill up over half the displays where the seasons, cocktail, white elephant, and spring refresh candles with the iridescent labels were.

I just went today to the Buena Park store in California and there was only a round table with just the leftover candles and the murano collection which I didn’t like much, I ended up grabbing 10 candles but only two were part of my wishlist :( Leftovers included lots of cinnamon caramel swirl, peppermint sugar cookie, strawberry pound cake (in like three different presentations). I spotted one wilderberry & ube very well hidden so I grabbed it immediately that was my great win this year’s candle day. In my case I would say it is very important you attend early the very first day to get the most variety. But I had fun nonetheless. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I luv the French one on cold,like the maple vibe and that its not the PPW heavy maple syrup. Omg i commented on Bonnie video tht the Pink Cocoa reminded me of Truffles Cherry/Positively Sweet candle. I luv tht candle and have 2 left so was happy to grab this one! Im sooo mad i didnt get the white macadamia one. I smelled it at the store n everything today,have no idea how I didnt put it in my bag😔,liked it on cold.

Love your reviews. Can not believe I wasn't subbed 🙈 but I definitely am now. I didn't order online or go in yesterday..But I did go this morning, they said it has not been busy like before.. I got there at 9 am they opened at 8 and I would say there was a total of 5 besides the 4 workers.. Thank goodness I already had purchased the Feliz Navidad candle during a great sale with a coupon.. I have 5.. I also have a crate of the Happy Hanukkah, And Crunchy English toffee.. Today I bought 18 more.. Definitely grabbed The Brioche French toast, Raspberry Thumbprint, Caramel Frappuccino, candy cane colada, clausmopoliton, lavender marshmallow, I forgot Dahlia ..I got more but can't think 😅love your haul and thanks for sharing ❤

I felt the same abt Tree Farm packaging this year. I kept debating but passed on it lol. I literally JusT Finished burning through one from the other year. With tht, I know I wont burn another one this season so passed. Hopefully next years or 2025 packaging is adorable too😊

I wish I could say the same for my store, we were struggling to keep candles on the shelves by the middle of day 2, especially some Christmas fragrances. Crazy all weekend as well, plenty of body care candles though!

I skipped yesterday and went today because I called my BBW and they weren’t putting out the pink hot Cocoa collection until today (Saturday). I live in Canada and I was able to get everything my daughter and I wanted. The only thing Canadian stores were missing was Paris Café, which is very sad. The manager said they were expecting it, but it didn’t show up. We also never got ‘Tis The Season with the heavy snowflake lid. I went in at around 11 o’clock and the store was fully stocked and not overly busy!

Picked up another wild berry & ube had to get a back up. Hot pink coco was sold out, but got the French toast one and Caramel Frappuccino one, they had tons of Feliz Navi da had to get one. It's a fairly new store, they had a bunch of fall candles as well my guess is people only know the bath and body works in the mall and not the one that outside next to other stores.

I loooved freshly brewed coffee but for some really weird reason it stopped throwing completely at the halfway point so I exchanged it and now have only 1 that I’m scared to burn in case it does the same thing lol so I just keep the lid off to be able to smell it somewhat 💔

As a designer, I prioritize aesthetics first, so the fact that a huge corporation like BBW who is raking in the money can't spend the extra cents (or whatever it is) to print a wraparound label that already exists, to make the candle so much prettier, is such a bummer. It's not like they're not releasing other Candle Day exclusives with wraps on them.

They were probably referring to the Cozy Cashmere that was out earlier in the season, which has indeed most likely already sold out - and probably unaware that a new one is coming in the candle day releases. They probably just haven't put out the Candle Day version out yet, so I'd check back later.

Yes one of the associates told me yesterday that they didn’t have many in that collection so if I wanted them to get there early. I was there before the opened and got brioche French toast and pink hot chocolate. The other two were ok but smelled SO light on cold. Happy I got my hands on them though.

Kent, Grateful smells HORRIBLE to me since I’ve gotten my smell back from getting Covid in 2021. I think it’s the cardamom note. I used to really love that one the week of Thanksgiving. Sucks so bad but at least most of my candles smell almost the same, if not the same as they used to pre-covid.

Hot pink cocoa is almost a duplicate of that one valentine candle that was positively sweet, the dark chocolate truffle candle Also sadly the white chocolate macadamia is super disappointing. In the first few minutes it shows promise, but once fully pooled its super generic almost no scent. Sad! Cause it started to give off Chocolate pistachio vibes in the first few minutes and I got excited cause I miss that candle!

I was excited for the macadamia nut candle but I was really disappointed in it. Is it just me or did the candle give "burned" macadamia nut cookies to anyone else too? I could smell a little macadamia nut from it, but it just smelled as if someone cooked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the oven too long and they all burned. I tried to like it but passed on it..ended up getting Flannel because the design was nice, Fireside, and was lucky to find "Feliz Navidad" and "The Perfect Christmas" in the expensive jars.

Hauls are considered first sniff impressions, and then the actual reviews are done through follow-up post burn reviews I do on my channel.

I got 2 of each from my small store the first day because she put them away for me. They only got 12 of each and essentially the employees bought them all plus mine. The manager said she has none left to even put out on the floor. My big mall store can sneak them out whenever so not playing that game. Got a few backups online instead not driving around on Saturday when everyone is out Christmas shopping.

@@Cherrylove570 A lot of times they’re not “playing” stupid lol. I think many seasonal hires simply don’t know what the next new wave of candles are. And that could also come down to management for not relaying all the specifics to every employee. But it’s also super crazy and hectic in stores so it’s understandable that they aren’t having an official sit down meeting to go through all the candles coming out this weekend.
