I just got back from PERU, and I have a LOT to say...
**Edit: This is a RE UPLOAD from last nights live stream which already had more than 70K views, 1K comments, and several thousand thumbs ups. But, I had to make some edits. People who watched this live will probably know what I am referring to. We live in an age where we can't even say what we're thinking. That aside, and unrelated, the fact that this stream cut off while I was talking about the Moon was pretty bizarre. But I assume it was nothing more than a technical glitch? Either way, this was a ton of fun and it ended prematurely! So I will definitely do another live stream!!

I was born and raised in Peru. That place is weird AF. I saw UFOs in four occasions. The first time it was about thirty feet from us. It was made of a shiny metal. Almost mercury like. It was hovering in front of my brother and I. There are tons of stories like this. My friend went through a similar experience in Argentina. All these events happened between the mid 70’s and early eighties. Brazil also has bunch of stories.

When you were talking about you possibly going to Yucatan and then talking about drumming on the stones in Peru it reminded me: I have been to Chichen Itza (ancient maya site in Mexico) and they have Pyramids there too. If you stand at a certain angle to it in front of one of the stairs leading to the top and you clap your hands, it makes a very weird sound. The sound gets reflected back and it kind of sounds like a gunshot, a projectile deflecting off of something.

I read it in a book in the 70's. I believe it was a report from an army guy in the 1800's that noticed his spurs were 'melted' when he rode through some bushes. He also noticed that birds picked up the leaves and used them to soften rock and make their nests in the hole. I'm not sure but it might have been a book from Erich von Däniken...

The local legend of using plants to soften the rock to shape it seems like a great starting point. Cataloging all the local plant life and interacting each specimen with sample rocks is simple and realistic research someone could do today. The theory that the higher elevation plant life was more effective at melting the diorite rocks seems like a good clue. If someone were to cut one of these rocks in half, you might be able to see structure changes in the cutout of the stones to further hint at what the softening mechanism was. Taking a few samples for further chemical analysis would be very easy at that point as well.

In one word... Ellora. To expand, an entire city, carved from the living rock, with no hint of what happened to the removed waste rock or gravel, anywhere. It's all intricately and meticulously detailed both inside and out, with even the furnitures and plaza sculptures being all part of the ONE stone. I'm certain you'd find this the trip of a lifetime. That is, if UNESCO hasn't eliminated visitation. I admire your enthusiasm for learning. Stay safe.

I spent last two years watching these ancient technology videos and was fascinated by all these ancient marvels. But then I actually went and checked what is behind this mainstream facade. First thing was shocking: there are no guardians there. Most of the work is free for all to read and see. You just have to be willing to look at it. Second thing was even more shocking: most of the stuff they claim to know, they are backing with evidence. For everything else they are quite modest. I'm telling you, just hear the archaeologists and historians out. Just because Graham Hancock said they are close minded, doesn't just make it so. Since these AHT people are always encouraging you to be open minded, call their bluff! Check both sides. You are in for surprise ;)

@@metaltribe i agree and i always instinctively avoided those types of channels because egypt has always been a focal point of fringe theory/aliens/etc. However one day some random youtube feed gave me a video from Bright Insight with a seemingly down to earth title (forgot which one), about egypt, and that piqued my interest. From there i got to know UnchartedX's channel, and oh boy, i have gone over most of his content, expect a few longer podcasts. I highly recommend you check it out, because he tries his utmost to investigate and discover, strongly avoiding to sell you his own half-baked interpretation of how everything has to be. I actually got really interested in geology lately because of the countless rock names (diorite?) entering one ear and leaving the other, and since rock formation and dating suddenly became relevant to me i wanted to grasp it better! From personal opinion i can highly recommend the 'Earth and Space Sciences X' channel. Plate tectonics is magnificent! (and it had a potentially big development just recently)

Same for the serfies: If some infuencers only get their to take a Picture for their Instagram or tiktok, without actually appreciating the Site, i can understand, why they don't want this kind of behavior Up there. They also do this in the Nature Reserve right next door, because people kept making selfies and violated the Nature in the process, leaving garbage, leaving the paths, stepping on plants ect. Hi Jimmy, I was in Peru in1980 and there weren’t too many tourists. Lots of great memories. There wasn’t a museum in Cusco then - just a small one room place with a collection of ancient ceramics. I was amazed to see a bowl with 3 figures holding/clinging to the outside upper rim. They had arms outstretched and holding hands to make a circle around the bowl. They were in their cultural clothes: a Peruvian, an African and an Egyptian. I kid you not! Asked the guy how old it was and he said it must have been around 3000 years old and very precious Didn’t take a photo. I wonder if it’s still there? Kathy xxx

Hypothesis: Machu Pichu is closed to the public because the local government actually found something of importance and want to excavate and remove whatever may be there that is either contrary to mainstream archeology/history, or precious metals and such. The best way to do that is thru "conservation". They can show you whatever they want in VR while they are up at the top doing whatever they are doing. Just a thought. I could be way wrong.

Great video, as always, Jimmy. Yeah, it's a bummer that so much is off-limits, but I blame idiot tourists. C'mon, how many morons climb over fences & chains to take selfies and end up dead? How many people have to touch everything and get nose close regardless of signs; they take just one little rock, scratch their name, or just drop crap on the ground cuz they "can't find a trash can"? I wish serious visitors would be considered instead of lumping us together with the general masses. But then who gets to make the decision? As far as conspiracy theories, ever since your video on the Hathor Temple, I haven't been able to get over my growing suspicion that the Egyptian Antiquities Agency (Hawass) was keeping stuff on the down-low to keep people who might not swallow the "accepted" version clueless. Certainly our government isn't the most transparent -- now that "disclosure" has become such a big issue, a lot of info & sites are going to be shut down, IMO. Thanks again! Love what you do.

@Bright Insight Just throwing this out about the nubs, could they have been used for scaling the wall? If they were under attack and sealed off the doorway, they could have nubs halfway up the wall so anyone that needs access can climb up to the midpoint and a rope could be dropped down for them to climb the rest of the way. This would make it easy to have selection on people who’d enter after fortifications were made.
