Stainless steel won't rust easily, need some form of acid to make them rust. Okay, here is the breakdown for legality of brass knuckles per state (some cities in those states may have different laws): Legal in HI, TX, GA, SC, IN, MT, ID, WY, SD, and IA. Legal with permit ND, WI, OH, CT, OR, NE NM, KY, WV, WA, MD, DE, NC, LA, MS, AL, and FL. Illegal in AK, WA, MN, MI, ME, VT, NH, NY MA, RI, PA, NJ, IL, NV, CO, MO, CA, KS, AR, TN, and OK.

The bike you pulled up looks in pretty good condition and could be fixed. If you notice the wheels have a lot of spokes which is a stronger wheel. Another reason its worth fixing. The spoon I am sure is made of stainless steel and that is why it didn't rust . If you look it say it on it. Lots of table ware are made of it. It's not like its worth a lot money. The reason I know so much about bicycles I been fixing and rebuilding them sense I was a young kid . It's a lot of fun to fix a little kids bike. Sometimes their bike is safer.
