@Lucy Weist most National sororities are gonna be about $250-$400/semester. You get out what you put in. If you want to be in leadership and take a little and hang out with your fam often and go to events, it’ll feel worth it, if not, it won’t. You are kind of paying for friends and parties and dances. I love my sorority, I am just being honest.

they're all kept in a room, which the big's drop the baskets off in, then the littles look for their name on the front of the basket.

Each chapter does it different. My sorority had your big ask the other sisters to text us and then drop them off with us (usually at our dorm buildings) and first year members keep living in the dorms and (usually) move into the house for their second year in the chapter.

@Charlotte its different from chapter to chapter and university to university some will drop them off at their dorms while other would allow girls to just get them at the chapter house. yes sorority girls and all the Pnms potential new members move into their dorm or sorority house earlier than everyone else that would be moving on campus that fall semester

Oh my gosh this is so cute! I was so excited for big/little reveal last year in my sorority but my big literally gave me nothing. She put in no effort what so ever, and I was so so disappointed. I was most looking forward to getting the shirts, because I heard you get a lot of t-shirts during that week, and she did not give me one single shirt. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining, but that was my experience during big/little reveal.

I can't explain the whole process because I'm Australian and we don't do this, but I think the general gist is that you choose sororities that you want to be in (I think you start by choosing 5, or 7 seems to be common too) and then I think you have to get rid of two and then apply for the ones that are left. Then the sororities themselves decide whether or not they want you. If you get accepted into more than one you have to choose. The big little thing is like buddies, if you ever did that in primary school? I believe that only the Greek based sororities do it, but I could be wrong.

I will enter my four-year-uni as a junior and get my Bachelors at 20. Can I still rush a sorority? Will they let me join if I will only be there for 2 years? It’s always been a dream of mine to be part of a sorority but I went a different educational path and now I just hope it’s still an option for me.

A very American college thing. Basically a bunch of girls in a building who are all part of the same group. They do activities together and usually hang out together. Lots of them consider each other family. Each college usually has multiple sororities so they might do competitions against each other. Fraternities are the male version and are basically the same except they definitely don't give each other baskets full of beauty products!
