Yup my 14 year old daughter is my only child and I’ve spent so much on her this year 😅 But shes such a sweet, humble and all around great kid it’s hard not to. She never asks for anything and that just makes me want to give her everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

My older son is 23 and he is the exact same way. I am a gift giver also, so I definitely understand what you're saying! He is in the Marines, so I have to be super careful choosing what I send as gifts when he can't be home on holidays. It kills me because I want to give my kids absolutely everything 😂

Same for me. I gave my only child tons of gifts- pure love. She also told me to chill. I was very very upset as this is how I grew up. I think of what she said to me very often and now years later my grandson gets TWO presents- that’s it. It’s difficult for me but at least I can take him to supper once a month and go to all of his games, concerts etc….

Definitely spoil your daughter. I was an only daughter and my son is my only child. I was spoiled and I spoiled Ross. But we both are caring and productive people. He and his wife have 4 kids ages 10 to 17 and I enjoy spoiling them. They are empathetic and kind kiddos. Spoil away💕💕💕
