My husband and I foster and we were blessed to be able to adopt our beautiful little girl last year just before Christmas. My husband and I are both Caucasian and our little love is biracial- with that being said I share your love with the variety of dolls now being offered! She’s got every skin tone imaginable in dolls. We have also loved seeing the books and have purchased many speaking to how important HER culture is. She has straight hair and I can’t tell you how many times I get asked why I braid and bead her hair when she got “white people hair”. 🙄 Your babe is blessed. I have not watched KZbin since Miss Halo began attending "Head Start". In fact, my grandson wasn't on Earth with him nearly three in a few months. Good to see you look well and Halo some years older. As the grandparent, I go the distance all year. Of course, shopping for boys takes more ingenuity due to less variety and his age. However, as his large gift, I went with the 12×12×10 bounce house. Grow into it. No replacements in the near future. I also purchased the Vtech smart watch and Tonie amongst the other madness. I found out about Tonie while on a European tour right before COVID. Halo might like Tonie as well. My grand niece is 8. She loves it. Less tv time is the goal. My niece is also addicted to American Girl. My sister and I spoke of her having to take a home equity line if AG keeps in play. Is Halo into American Girl? How are your older daughters? Happy Holidays and thanks for sharing.
