I will give you a Mom to Mom tip, I always get my kiddo a large item -- even if it is a big floor puzzle I find at Ollie's for $6 or whatever. I am not sure about all little kiddos, but mine seems to really enjoy one that looks big in size for Christmas if that makes sense. He always saves the biggest one until the end and says it is the best. I am sure this is not true when kids get older and things get more expensive for example they want a trillion dollar phone and it can fit in a small box. I think little ones just like a big-sized gift not necessarily an expensive gift. You sure did a great job with your gifts. Merry Christmas for your whole family.

We did this with our daughter when she was small. We always said biggest isn’t always best but it always got saved until last. Then they get bigger and everything expensive is teeny tiny

You did AMAZING! Loved this video. My boys are older 7. 13 . 16 but I still go overboard on Christmas 🎄 it's the excitement and the smile on their faces that makes it all worth it!! Happy holidays!! Ps when my oldest was a toddler he LOVED lightning Mcqueen!he had just just about every toy from that movie. Lol ❤

There's nothing wrong with going overboard and buying your children a lot of gifts if you're able to do it! Trust me, these days go by fast. My kids are grown now and it's not nearly as exciting and fun now as it was when they were little. I always enjoyed going big for Christmas when they were younger because it was the only time of year we really bought them toys and fun stuff.

Just from my point view: just show us what you got, idk why youtubers feel like they need to explain in long detail why they got what they got or how much they spent. You don't have to justify to us why you bought it, we don't care if it was on sale. We just need ideas, quickly. We aren't judging you on how much you spent. Lol

This logic makes no sense. Making a long video appeals to everyone. You can make a longer video shorter by skipping through the “boring” parts or just parts you don’t care for. But you can’t make a shorter video longer.

My 3yr old son is asking me to put new batteries in both rc cars as we speak lol. We don't do toys that make noise, have lights, play themselves and screens so it can be tricky to find perfect items. We love the yoto player which is kind of like tonie box. Look into little blue truck books and cozy goodnight books.

Don't ever explain why you bought the amount of gifts you did. They are YOUR children, not the internet. Don't apologize. I so.etimes go overboard and that's my perogative as a parent. I love seeing my kids face on Christmas morning.

Good point!! I try to be somewhat minimal in a lot of areas which is why I’m a little conflicted. But it’s totally worth it!!

@OriginalMotherhood if you choose to be minimal make sure it's your decision and not pressure from others. I think most parents deal with judgemental opinions especially this time of year. I spoil my kids, I really do. However, my kids are well mannered and never ask for much. It's my doing if I get them a lot. I think people associate a lot of gifts to kids being brats, rude, etc and that's just not the case.
