Agree, the lips are definitely different on the face you received. The seller should have sent you photos of the piece for approval before shipping it out.

You’re totally not wrong about the lips, not only a different shape but also a completely different painting/colouring. I don’t know how a vendor can even exactly replicate a face plate since when I customise my dolls they are never exactly the same hence their individuality! I do hope you can get a refund. 😊

I don’t think she actually made the original plate in the photo. I went in to look at reviews and seems like the few faceplates she did all had issues of not looking like the photos and she never specified she was making them and you weren’t getting the one pictured I kinda figured it out when the shipping was so long. 🤦🏻‍♀️ she did respond though and supposedly is refunding me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ let’s see if she follows through.

You are not wrong, definitely not the same face plate - Lips are NOT the same & eyebrows look different as well. I’d be unhappy too.

I am a hesistant online doll purchaser for this reason. I feel I don’t get what was in the picture. I hope you get a refund or a redo.

That is disappointing-the lips on the doll you received look different than the one you thought you were getting. I would think if you are selling a product, you should be showing the one you completed-you weren’t requesting a special order. Even then you should know what it is going to look like. I hope the seller can give you a refund. I found that same Ken at a 2nd hand store too. I hope you have a nice holiday weekend.
