I think you will get the CFMoto 800NK next considering their asking prices and what it comes with... Aside the appearance that I know you don't like, do you rate the SV650 as a bike (the current model)? How often you change sprockets/chain and tyres on this bike? kms/miles

The MT07 is undoubtedly the best all around middleweight hooligan wheelie machine. Other manufacturers have been trying to dethrone the MT07, yet it's still selling out in dealerships so it's still the undisputed king.

💯👍 Imo, none of the competition is as great as the MT-07 so far. The MT-07 is America's favorite motorcycle and rightfully so.

I agree, especially for the price. The others can probably make a bike that competes but I don't think they can match the price of the FZ 07 and at this point Yamaha has built a reputation with that bike and people trust it. Like Cruza said "cheap bike to mess around with".

I almost got an used 2018 MT07 for 5k. Was to late and lost the bid. Meow I got a cb500f for $2500a good deal. It came with a lugage rack which I added on a top box, new rear tire, and breaks, adjustable red levers, and a Pugh wind visor. All I did was change the sprockets, and chain, and changed the oil filter. The bike runs fum. It is a different in power from my little 300cc motorsickle a little more. I remember when I was on the interstate with my little 300. I was at full throttle doing 75 and it slowly goes up to max 90. Meow with this one I do 80 and the still have some throttle to crank up to 100. I think that's adequately enough power for me for a right Meow. I forgot to mention that I recently added a Leovince slip-on exhaust on my bike. It sounds so good meow. Yesterday I went to Pensacola, Florida with it To go buy some lotteries. Last week I went to Biloxi Mississippi. I got used to the small little wobbles that it does because of the roads doing 75 80. Once the road smoothed out, it rode smoothly. The only thing I hate is my crotch area gets so soar that I end up riding with my leg spread out on the interstate. I think I need one of those exercise machines that Susaan Summers sell, that thigh machine cruncher. Either than that, I love motorsickle, and riding. Someday I will get my dream bike, But for now, at least I'm happy that I have a bike to ride ever since that accident.

As someone who rides as much as he does it makes sense why it sounds spoiled, plus as good as a bike it is its prob hard to find things to not like so these are prob just minor inconveniences to be aware of if you ride a lot. 😂🤷🏽‍♂️

As a MT07 2022 owner i can tell you that i've done all the tuning that could be done. Did the ECU-FLASH, new open filter and Akrapovic .. but the rust started after owning it for 6 weeks!

Have you ever felt you wanted just a tad bit more power out of the MT07? I wonder if you'd consider a the Yoshimura Airbox kit or Hord power airbox and a propa tune to go with it 👀😊😊. I'm curious if the MT07 could hit 90 hp or close to it naturally aspirated

before the r7 people were setting up the fz07 for twin cup racing, I think they managed to get 85-90 hp out of it, at the crank or wheel (I'm not sure) it was hard to get figures on it. I believe the Aprilia 660 is in that class so that has 100 hp, so they had to do something... TWIN CUP (motoamerica) REV’IT! Twins Cup is also increasing in popularity due to the manufacturer’s introducing more and more of this category of motorcycles. so much joy man. love it. Mt07 is the BIKE to get. Ist just a little small for bigger guys. It just doesnt look that good from the outside. When smaller woman write the mt07 it looks perfekt. The bike itself looks very good and muscular. One thing i dont get, why the front light is smoked (The write matt) Would have looked more quality with normal see trou lights. Other than that ITS AMAZING. I have a XSR700 for the stile. Love the hight seat hight. im 6 feet so...

You're dead right in your review. I had my 22 for a year and done 13000k. I had the suspension replaced as our roads in New Zealand are crap, it has made a huge difference to the ride.

Hey Cruza, How come with so many instances with the rusting frame, weaker suspension etc you are still fine with the FZ 07 and you want to keep it which I understand, but then you see a few "You Tubers" having issues with their street fighter (not knowing what if anything they did with/to their bikes) and you immediately decide not to get it without ever test riding one...Or maybe you are getting that BMW S1000RR instead :) Just kidding I know you won't get that one either. What is your line of thinking? It's like people get into accidents on the freeway, does that mean you will never drive on the freeway. It doesn't make sense. Thank you.

To me the worst thing about the current MT07 is it's just not a very good value compared to its 270° P-twin competition. No deals on MT07's than I know of but you can get a KTM Duke 790 or Suzuki GSX 8S for about $500 less OTD with their current deals and less expensive shipping charges. Even at retail the Hornet will likely be less expensive for a better bike (IMO) if Honda ever decides to sell them in the US. One might even argue that Suzuki's SV650 is a better bargain with similar quality components (suspension/brakes) and a lower price!.

That’s exactly what it is. Your not getting attention on that bike, something like a carbon fiber ftr naked bike catches more attention. Cyclecruza said it’s a nice cheap bike to mess around
