When you said “life is hard don’t matter the circumstances” I really felt validated. I always invalidate my struggles because someone is probably doing worse than me which doesn’t allow me to heal. It doesn’t help having family invalidate you either.

Hey Jae, I’m turning 32 on the 16th ♊️ and I’ve been watching you since you were a teenager (so your audience may be older than you think lol). Don’t be too hard on yourself about school... I went through the same exact thing and it took me a while to figure things out but once I finally did, I was soooooo ready and there was nothing that could stop me from reaching the finish line. I had to wait on God’s direction bc honestly, I was so confused.... I’m finishing up my Master’s degree now and can tell you for a FACT that age is just a number and there’s no timing like God’s timing! You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you! 🙏🏽🙌🏽 Happy early birthday hunni 💜

Trying to juggle a toxic relationship whilst dealing with the stresses of college , is really hard and mentally taxing . Struggled with anxiety because of it and failed multiple classes . Left the relationship sophomore year and have been happy and prospering ever since , two years later I have my degree . And I’m continuing on to my masters . For anyone that needs to hear it , leave him sis . Put yourself first !

Gurrrlll! Although my last relationship was my first and only when I was 22 (im 26 now)...i was just like you ,but i wasn't in college. I had already finished school. now looking back that relationship was from me being lonely and I guess bored, and I see that what was needed was for me to start loving myself, and see myself how God sees me in his eyes. Im in such a better place interms of self love, prayer worship , and having a true relationship with Jesus...im truly focused on me and continuously learning who I am through gods eyes...like you I don't feel 26 at all i still feel 23 ,ill be 27 in sept...i still feel like I'm in college lol. But I wouldn't trade where I am now for anything. I thank God for his continuous work on me. Im glad im far from how I was at age 23. Growth is always key to success. Best advise ever! Mental health in college is so important and some relationship are just a draining distraction. Focusing on yourself during college is probably the best thing you can do for yourself because you’re still learning yourself, getting used to a new environment and most importantly you have to secure that career so you can be independent and never feel like you have to put up w certain things because you need a man. Depression In college is real, and focusing on yourself during these times is imperative!

Right before I graduated high school my father passed and college was just draining me. Now that I’m growing and going through life, I know God has a calling on my life but I’m having trouble finding out what that is. I just turned 33 and it felt so anticlimactic, haha. The older you get the less you care. I freaked out about turning 30 but in the 3 years since, I’ve never felt more comfortable with myself! Comparing my life path to others just dragged me down, especially when i don’t even want the traditional “life path” aka having kids and moving to the burbs. So you realizing this at 23 is awesome and you’re definitely on the right track! Also it’s amazing you want to go into the funeral industry. Do you watch Ask A Mortician? Her content is fascinating. I finally got into "THE" I thgt would complete me at 23. After it ended I felt more broken then I did before it. I had to learn that I must be complete within myself FIRST and then add a man as my accessory not my necessity. So whether I ever get married or not, I will still be whole.

Sis, don’t ever feel the need to apologize for dropping out of college! College is HARD, mentally and emotionally. And I too struggled year 2 in college. Like that’s when EVERYTHING was hitting. The ONLY reason why I didn’t drop out was because I knew that my parents would make my life hell if I came back home. But if you’re in school and realizing that things aren’t working out, I believe that it may be the WISER decision to leave or otherwise, you’re just blowing money fast!

I totally agree with you I was the same way in Highschool. I’m in college now and developed my relationship with God. I’ve committed to being celibate and owning my purity and just getting my spirituality, mental, and physical self together. Being in a relationship was all I focused on and yes I feel like I wasted a lot of time but I know I had to go through those seasons to get to the point where I am now. Loving myself and being in a season of singleness or however long God says for me to be in is what I’m focusing on.

Especially when my relationship ended, I realized my life was so wrapped up in the other person I really didnt know who I was when it ended & what i truly wanted to do in school. My current relationship i did everything in the relationship and i lost myself when we were together. I ended up breaking up with him and finding myself but also going through my Mary Jane stage as well in College. I went through alot physically, mentally, and emotionally. I went through growth spurts so i decided to apologize to him for how i left the relationship but i had no intention of going back. He said she had changed and the biggest mistake was losing me and everything. I decided to give it another try because we were young. I will be 29 in a few days and i just want to know if it is worth holding on too. He is a good guy but the maturity level is not there to say he will be 31. Alot or people say women mature faster than men and i believe that. I have also met mature men my age. I just find myself getting irritated or annoyed at certain stuff. I know im not perfect but i also believe everyone is not meant to be in this journey called life with you. Im just trying to stay prayed up and focus on me and what God has for me. Sorry so long i just feel like i needed to vent about my situation. Any advice would be needed. I want to get that book and start reading it. I was just talking to my friends about it the other day. I used to be the same girl that was so focused and relationships and being “loved”. Once I found the love of God and learned how to love myself...lol it was a wrap.

Lol!!! “I’m gonna work on someone who already passed so the outcome is gonna the the same” (talking about working as a funeral director rather than doctor). Thank you so much for this video overall. I’m so encouraged and inspired to grow into who God made me to be.

I feel you on so many levels. I'm feeling the exact same way when it comes to loving yourself, taking care of your mental and making it a priority, finding your purpose and pursuing it, letting go of toxic relationships and finding strength moving forward, feeling like your life is moving fast and your on a time clock. Kinda like a mid-life crisis exact where in our 20's. I'm 21 going to be 22 in July and I can relate everything your saying.

Happy Early Birthday Jae, also your story/testimony about where you’ve been and where you’re at now is sooo relatable. While I was in college I was doing the same thing. Focused on a dude and not myself, school or God. I’ll be going back to school too. Thank goodness for grace and being lifted from that place. I am more than a relationship.

Hey! First I wanted to say thank you for this video you are amazing ♥️ I recently graduated for the class of 2020 and honestly girl same here. With me, I’m constantly worrying about my future and if God will send me a good hubby with children. I’m 21 and at times it gets tough because I’m constantly comparing myself to friends I know who are in good relationships and with social media relationships. It makes me feel like I will never find my person as you stated. This video was very helpful video ♥️

You are an amazingly mature young woman. While your channel may be geared toward women/men your age, your message can resonate with anyone at any age. So thank you! I wish you well and know you have a wonderful future ahead. I leave you with Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you you said the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. God bless!

Happy early blessed birthday to you! Know that everything you have said is relatable to everyone in age. As years go by, life never fails to teach you, but God never disappoints to teach you to sharpen Wisdom and discernment so you can apply it and teach it to others like you already are. As you continue to live, I know for sure that God will continue amaze you with His love that He has made just for you and so much more. May this new season that you walk in, expose you that your life was never wasted but purposed and created by God. So have a beautiful birthday and continue to enjoy life to the fullest.✨🤍

Also i was a whole career woman and decided to get my degree! It was different being an adult among young folks... but i pushed through and then right after got my masters... it’s never too late. Focus on you and save yourself the time, energy and money to figure out what you want. Trust me it never happens the way you planned it out. I would have never thought i would be single at 41 with no children. I have a home i purchased alone and a great career. My purpose is divinely timed.

I didn’t start learning who I am until after college. I’m 27 now. When I was your age I was in a very bad toxic relationship. When I was 24 that’s when I decided to leave that relationship. Once I had my awakening at 25 that’s when I started to become the woman that I’m supposed to be. I still have those moments of not knowing my true purpose in life. It’s definitely a journey. 🌻
