Isn’t NCECA amazing? This was my first year, too! The cup sale, I think the earliest person showed up at 4am this year. O.O

Banana slugs are the mascot of UC Santa Cruz, because you can find them on campus (and because the student body are not very athletic? - the school has no football team). They live in redwood forests.

Kintsugi! That is what you're thinking of with the gold. Once a piece is repaired with this method, it's no longer food safe, but beautiful!!
