You are awesome I went out and tried applying this to my skating and it really helped me get more consistent at heelflips. Thank you for pointing this out!

One thing I learnt from pros is when you fall off your board try to keep your elbows close to your body and keep your arms in,it can reduce the chances of injury to arms and wrists which is a bit tricky to get used to as you naturally want to put your hands out to steady yourself.

Yeahh! I often find myself using my arms and hands to catch myself which of course I do pushups every day to strengthen them but protecting them like pro skaters do is probably better. I would have to work hard and practice in order to keeping my arms and hands in because as you said it isn't natural to do so. Thanks for your thoughts!

why you goated tho i still havent gotten my first kf vid on my channel any tips
@thelittleskater018 ай бұрын
Thanks bro! Just keep the camera at a wide angle where you have room to do it without going out of frame. Or do the trick sorta going toward the camera so you know where you will and wont be seen by the camera. If you pass the camera you know your obvs out of frame.

Ohhh I wasn’t sure 😅 my biggest tip is just getting rlly comfortable with the flip and the pop and then landing with one foot on…preferable to back foot cuz then u know the board is under you. Then once u get that down, practice the flick but also practice bringing ur foot back to the board rlly fast! That will train ur front foot to comeback after flicking and then you will land it once u commit. Hope this helps! If u want a better explanation, I have a kickflip trick tip short on my channel so u can check that out if u want :)
