what I learned in my ACTUARIAL SCIENCE degree

If you've ever wondered what it's like to major in actuarial science, this video is for you. I show you what I learned in my actuarial science classes and two of the projects I completed! More specifically, I talk about the academic and social benefits of majoring in actuarial science compared to majoring in finance, mathematics, data science, and statistics. I also give a walkthrough of two machine learning projects that I did my senior year of college.

I am not able to share the tests I took, but you can find a lot of exam practice problems online if you google them!

im double majoring in stats and econ and am confused about how many exams i should ideally take before graduating. How many did you take?

I’d love to see her response to this question as well. From what I’ve heard from the majority of people is it use to be pass atleast 1 but now it’s preferred you have 2 passed. Most jobs want you to have 2 passed.But of course some don’t pass any while in college and still get a job

Hi! The minimum is usually one exam to be considered for an actuarial job, but the new “norm” is having passed two exams by graduation. Hope this helps!
