Thank you so much, Karen! The pocket is such an important feature on this skirt, but I remember people making it last year who were unhappy with the bulky pocket. I was so grateful to get this tip myself that I had to share! And I really love the color and texture of the fabric. I've been thinking up so many tops in my wardrobe that would be great with it. I always love adding those versatile makes into the wardrobe!

It's a very satisfying sew. The pocket construction is really unique, and it comes together surprisingly quickly. It's a great one for beginners!

I wish they'd given the pocket opening height in the finished garment measurements, but I guess that's what rulers are for! 😁

Gutted I couldn't take part in this this year! Excellent skirt though, you can't go wrong with pockets and I am of course a huge fan of green! Gonna have to take a look through the hashtag for this pattern because I'm putting together plans for what I need to make in preparation for a cruise in August, and I feel like having pockets would be very handy...
