It's so refreshing to discover someone on KZbin who has very similar interests as I do :-) I love sewing, travelling, buying fabrics wherever I travel and store fabrics like you do! I also love your sewing projects. Everything just looks gorgeous and suits you really well. :-)

Came across your channel recently and have been binging your videos. I would love a video on what your closet is like, what your regularly wear, if you donated projects, how much is self made vs store bought, and such. I've sewn a few practical pieces like pouches and masks but only now am venturing more into clothing so seeing what others prefer to make themselves over buying is really interesting.

You said what I've been thinking: matching face masks! But I will say, regardless of things being "safe" or not at any point in the future, I'm probably going to always wear a face mask in future on planes, when visiting friends in hospital, etc. Great makes, great video. :-)

McCalls, pdf, wow. I made a few masks using Mimi pattern, also. Like your outfits. Been having trouble with thread knotting up, which made me upset, even after adjusting tension. Will try again.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago, I took my machine apart to find that is was CLOGGED with lint and fluff from all my projects. I've not got my machine serviced in years and it needed a clean so bad. So maybe... have a good look under the hood to see if there is fluff stuck somewhere. As soon as I got rid of everything, it started working like a dream again.

It's always so cute when English people say it's hot or soooo hot and it's like 32°. For an Aussie 32-35° is perfect, perfect weather. Summer is usually 37-45°. So yeah, it's very cute. Understandable.....but cute. Now if I hear it's 36-38° in Korea or Britain, I bloody worry. You're not used to it physically. But climate change will change that.
@TheCrafterpreneur4 жыл бұрын
32 for the UK is scorching. The effects are already being seen. Last year we had temps of 35C in the north and even hotter down south. It was a little troubling. Still got my shorts on though.
@simoneduff16894 жыл бұрын
@@TheCrafterpreneur I know. I'm 44 this year, so have watched over time temperatures go up in Europe. In last couple of years it's started to do the same in Korea- which is incredibly troubling for people used to minus 0° temperatures up to maybe 25°. To go through 35°+ heatwaves. So it is very troubling watching you guys have heatwaves of 35°+. It's just very cute, AFTER you think of how bloody serious it is-- when 35/36° for us- is an absolutely PERFECT summer day. But we know how bad it is for you though. Especially as our 38°, 40-45°+++ days are getting to be more and more each summer and autumn. Unfortunately due to climate change, you guys are going to develop our weather. You are going to have to get used to it. It'd be the same for us in western Australia if we suddenly got snow during winter! We literally don't have the clothes or infrastructure for it. Apparently your trains don't have air-conditioning!?? We've had to have Aircon in our busses and trains for 20?yrs? Our parkas are for wind and rain! Just like the one I'm about to make for winter! No insulating layer- and if there is one, it's for 10° etc. Not minus zero°. Our winter clothing ISN'T for cold weather! We'd literally die!
@karynbray10044 жыл бұрын
No, we will not be wearing face masks all the time.....
