I smoke my clothes. Get a metal can and just burn a little bit of wood and leaves in it, let the smoke hit your clothes. Killed all 3 of my bucks doing this. I personally think scent killer is a gimmick

So your clothes smell like a campfire? I would understand having your clothes packed with leaves and sticks, but actually having smoke touch your clothes makes no sense. Burning sticks and leaves do not smell like natural sticks and leaves. I mean that’s great if it works but I’m guessing you were down wind of all those bucks

Deer can differentiate scent molecules. So smoke does nothing to get rid of your scent it simply adds smoke to the mix. The deer will now smell smoke and human. The Mississippi State research team believes they can smell 6 scents at the same time. In other words cover scents don’t work.

I hunt the wind therefore, my boot-sent is my only concern. I keep my rubber boots, & my rubber-bottom boots in a cardboard box lined with a sent free gargage bag, then I shovel 2-scoops of dirt from around my salt block where my pet deer feed out back of my house. I keep my boots in the box all year & freshen the 2-scoops of dirt as needed. - I hang 3-stands approx. 250 yards apart just outside feeding & bedding areas on doe trails & hunt the wind. - I hunt WMA's & get pix & visual of the older doe's & their trails. I know when they have fawns so, I count back 5-months & 3-weeks. That lets me know when certian doe's will be towing a buck. I harvest my buck limit every year. - Hope this information helps. It sure saves a lot of money & time! - - Also, another simpla trick that helps, eat an apple as you slow-walk to ur stand & the last 100 yards begin to rub whats left of the apple on the bottom of ur boots.

wash all your clothes in no scent clothing wash and line dry and use non scent body wash and use baking soda toothpaste when you brush your teeth and if you can find it non scent hunters mouth wash for after you had your coffee
