A Little Life has been adapted into a play in the West End in London at the moment. If you’re ever in the UK, you could check it out. Not sure how long it’s running for though.

We have The Artist's Way in common. I tried to do it with a group of friends online and it was a fail. I hope to try to attempt it at some point. Great to see you still reading! You should check out The Storygraph instead of Goodreads.

Hey Sheena! (It’s Kim 😊). This is the nudge I needed. I’m making a pledge to finish The Artist’s Way. I have started and stopped too many times. I’m definitely committing to reading more in ‘24. I always had a book nearby while growing up. Unfortunately, I haven’t made time to read as much recently. Embarrassed to say how many books I’ve purchased and didn’t finish. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤭

You know I LOVE this video❤ Some books to put on my ever growing TBR! Goodreads really should start enabling half stars for the rating system. Sometimes a book just falls perfectly in between star ratings! Becoming is an amazing read; the audiobook version is *chef's kiss*; she's such an impressive woman. I have Crying in H Mart and I need to read it in 2024😊

AGREED! Those half stars matter and make all the difference lol but on GR I just gave to round down 😞 and Becoming was sooo good! I did the audio book too and really enjoyed hearing her tell her story

I finally read Becoming this year too after starting it when I was gifted it at Christmas 2018 haha...oops. But I loved it too. We seem to have a similar taste in reading too, I have read or have these books on my TBR. I agree with you about the Jaycee Lee Duggard book. I actually read her second book too which is more about her life after she escaped which was interesting as well, it's been awhile since I have read it though so I can't remember if I would recommend it or not haha.

Yess! It was such a great read and honestly better than I thought? I was worried it was going to be politic heavy, but it actually wasn’t! And maybe I’ll listen to Jayce’s second book too, but it may not be in my immediate tbr lol
