I give you kudos for taking, or making the time you are to read more. I find myself grabbing the newspaper between jobs or whenever I can and that is about it. I battle with some depression which can make retaining hard for me. You know read a paragraph and then realize you dont know what you read cuz your mind was everywhere. The cat is good taste hanging out with you. Remember to pet his head once in a while. Hope you are doing well Angel Claudy!

Yeah i get distracted often too. I try my best to focus on the book and nothing else. It can be hard. And i spoil my baby with a ton of pets and kisses hehehehe

This is honestly lowkey inspiring, I used to read more as a kid but almost none as an adult. It's never too late to start again, or to just start, period! Shout out to us slow readers! PS. Any chance to get some Tolkien on that reading list? (idk if you've actually had some already, I just jumped in lmao)

It's not a bad thing! I myself am a slow reader, I like to visualize in my head the characters, locations, dialogues, etc while reading! It makes me enjoy the book even more😊 But sometimes, I tend to zone out so maybe that's why I can't finish a book quickly😅 btw cool pjs!!!
