I agree about Spare. An entire book about the awfulness of the system, but only a sentence and a half about if the system should exist. Thought we would get more. Excited to read Legends & Lattes :)

Interesting to hear your thoughts on Spare! I'd seen that that was out, and was curious what people would end up thinking of it, even if it wasn't something that called to me. And yeah, who knows how to pronounce February! I bet it's somewhat regional. I'm in the US, and I say it sort of like "Feb-yu-ary" (the same of one of your pronunciations), just giving up on that first R entirely. 😁

I’ve almost finished listening to Spare, and I liked it more than you did, but being American, I also feel pretty removed from royal drama. I’ve been wanting to pick up Legends & Lattes! I think most people drop the first “r” when pronouncing February. 😊

Most Americans pronounce February as Feb-u-ary. It is a hard word to pronounce correctly 😅
