I did for sure enjoy Before We Were Strangers, but I recommend trying Renee Carlino's Swear On This Life! I read that one first and it's one of my all-time favorites! Childhood friends to lovers who are separated, second chance romance, a book within a book giving the main characters' pasts, and healing from trauma (the trauma they face is intense but kind of eye opening imo). It made me appreciate what I have. Jase is wonderful and these 2 feel like soulmates!

I did like throttled and collided (first 2 books from the dirty air series) but I didn't really like the guy characters (Noah more than Liam though)? Maybe it's because I love F1 and I don't feel like the "player" aestetic fits f1 drivers (the real ones). I don't really know how to explain it but I think it's because I watch f1 alot. The whole sport facts and stuff is very accurate so Lauren Asher really did well!

I feel like I’m getting into a bit of a book slump. I like the books I’m reading now- Cemetery Boys and The Unhoneymooners… but Cemetery Boys is kind of out of my comfort zone and it’s taking me a while to finish the chapters. Plus I’m also doing some projects at home and stuff… and I was sick a little while ago so… hopefully I’ll read a lot this month but… I’m expecting a slump.

I read Throttled and had the highest expectations for it but honestly did not like it at all. It felt too cringy at times and felt like the book was dragging on forever when nothing was really happening. I desperately wanted to like but I just could not.
