I was in your church the 1st time last September & I had a blindspot- as you were teaching, you heard my thought & corrected me & pointed me out, looked in the group I was standing with others & pointed out my blind spot which was “ Spiritual PRIDE “. I repented to God immediately & said in my mind to God that I just wanted to learn & you heard my repentant thought & taught what I needed to learn & you said” someone needs to learn from this”. When I went home from your service, I repented again to God & I saw you in my dream looking & facing me kindly like supporting me. If not from that correction, I would have been so deceived. Acts 20:7 In the New Testament, the "First day of the week" was Sunday. They were partaking in the "Lord's Supper" (breaking bread). If I work for a company and am forced to work 7 days, I am not in sin because I didn't have a day off. We are not bound by the Law as the Children of Israel were. We are now lead by our conscience by the indwelling and leading of the Holy Ghost. The disciples plucked grain and ate it on the Sabbath because they were hungry. The Pharisees accused them of breaking the Law. But Christ corrected them by saying, "have you not read.....?"

Hit home a little here. I was in traditional cessationist churches / denominations for over 50 yrs. God directed me to a pastor/teacher in 2019 whose teaching set me free and transformed my life. I am not the same person as I was before then. I learned about the true nature of God and who I am in Christ. A whole world opened up to me and i moved and attended Bible College. I became bolder in my beliefs, especially after God supernaturally healed me. I was around people who were chasing the "more". My opinion of "the church" and pastors drastically changed during the covid mess. Pastors were not taking a stand. They were preaching one thing and pacifying fear in the church. Although most churches don't require masks (at present) I do not see churches praying for our nation or praying God's will be done on this earth as we collectively come together. There is power in prayer when we all come together yet I'm not seeing it happen. I truly hope church assemblies are praying, truly lifting our present evil and corruption before the Lord and I'm in an area of exception, but I don't think I am. I didn't see it in churches and ministries during the covid mess either. Regarding your message, have church gatherings become a time of little more than powerless, planned social gatherings where we want our P&W time of God's manifest presence (one way or another) and a sermonette to get us through another week. I had to move to help care for my mom after a surgery injury, so I have been recently attending a local church trying to connect with people. For my real growth and challenge, I listen to you and a couple other Bible teachers / scholars. I'm still under the belief the church is functioning in a degraded state if we are not collectively praying for our nation, God's will be done, corruption be exposed, truth be revealed, justice be served, lives be changed, eyes opened, hearts changed, and the gospel preached. Most churches aren't laying hands on the sick but instead printing a list of those needing prayer or mentioning them in passing. I don't see anyone in my area doing street ministry. It is no wonder we are in the mess we are in. The modern church is like the 10 nay sayers who spied out the promised land. Where are the David's?? Where are the Caleb's and Joshua's?? Our church leaders as a whole have failed the church.

I don't know what part of the world you live in but in my part, during covid I saw my church leaders and our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome stand bold and courageous against the lockdown, the wearing of mask and every other thing related to the pandemic. We came together several times and prayed, and we saw our prayers being answered. We have not stopped we are still at it, non stop prayers for the nations. The fact that you don't know about it happening doesn't mean its not happening. The church is still marching on and the gates of hell have not prevailed.

We need to be sensitive to abuse of authority. The family God is huge. Maybe an " aunt/uncle" who is a safe place in Christ even outside of your church to talk to? We are honestly Only called to pray for leadership as in Timothy 😀..and the best way is praying in tongues..then we will not risk "witchcraft praying"

I do agree I find that people are coming into the church but their leadership that does not have a clue about who they are leading. And most of their rules to be able to be used in THEIRS churches are so fleshy. And when you look at the whole picture of the church world and all the different beliefs it just looks so chaotic of walls of division. I don’t want no part of that system. I believe the day of the church was when Peter stood up and preached Christ. Most sermons today are about what the apostles says. And they did not all agree. They were divided in beliefs. I’m not saying the Bible holds no truth I would be a fool to say that. But if you have to trust in someone else’s Holy Spirit and ignore the Holy Spirit in you, you will never be anchored in Christ and you would be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine. Do you get my point? Just because I do not want to play the political church game doesn’t mean I went rogue. If the TRUTH IS REALLY TOLD BY MOST PASTORS. They would say I went out and started their own churches because they needed the freedom to use their gifting but when they start their own churches they forget to trust others in the body of Christ and allow them to use their gifts and grow in that church, like they probably wanted to be used in some church, in so they creat their own popery church. Pastor’s don’t be afraid of Gods people if they are sent to the gathering of Gods people, allow them to use their gifts. Remember they are Gods people not yours.

Brother Dave I have to go get some food as I have cleaned out my Apt 324 and i was going to the pastor at 27 S Fremont but he speaks Spanish and I am 72 and I really enjoyed going to this pastors church! I did talk to him and told him I must get going and take a trip! I did mean all I said to you about getting the funds for your new church and I will pay you back for all you did all your prayers day in and day out! I was so troubled when I went to his church Dave I left on a very calm and I am a good communicator! I know he did help me, one day I saw him praying over a chest with I saw black thread and he and everyone was praying my name and saying To me God Bless you and I gave generously $20.00 and did not care to mention this as I talked and asked Dave Cerullos Mary in Prayer and I have been wanting to ask him to help further my spirituality. Not obligated to follow spiritual leader, who do not follow the spirit who for the love of money power, And control manipulate or drive the sheep not leading the flock by example those requiring obediance, and not earning the respect Paul specks of . So many false shep arms prophets teachers. First we need to hear and follow The Spirits voice, then for reasons of unity order, and peace submit while not sacrificing our own relationship to Christ as we the church many parts adding to the chorus of fellowship still are allowed liberty in the spirit. Thank you for your love for people. :) I just want to add that there is another group that can hardly be called rebellions, because, for example, in the former USSR, people were shamed, it was forbidden to visit the church. Growing up in such an atmosphere, it goes without saying that people are not used to going to church and it seems unnatural to them. We grow up, faith changes, but what we learned in childhood remains for the rest of our lives. Believe me, it is unspeakably difficult to force yourself to do what you have lived most of your life without. Although I really, really want to, some abnormal force is holding me back.

A Sunday church service is where 99% sit mute / passive. Their absence will not hinder the program. I love how you are speaking about leader ship we all need l spiritual leadership I respect every word what you say is that man have to pour into us but man is not Jesus either and we don't put our faith in man you put your faith in Jesus the man is the mouthpiece of of Jesus. We don't suppose the worship man people want to go like I said they look at man and what I mean by man because they have gifts and they take those gifts and they want to worship the person that's why we all need to get on the same page when it comes to praise and worshiping and you know listen to our leaders I understand about authority spiritual authority more than what people realize but people don't understand everybody doesn't have spiritual authority they have authority and I'm not talking about from God they have authority from a job they have authority from other things but when God bless you and give you a gift to utilize it to bless the people you can give a word whether they want to take it or receive it but it's up to them to accept it but at the end of the day they cannot tell you when something transpired that God didn't tell or you know you didn't come give them the word of God properly should I set cuz we you know you're the mouthpiece of God that's where the prophets come in at that's where you said you have the bishops you have you know like you said the five fold and I understand very much about the five fold that's where I come from a five-fold ministry I'm not illiterate and and well aware on how each office operates when I am trying to find a home church I need to sit under the people to know what I'm being taught and if the word doesn't line up then you know things don't match up what they saying and you don't see them you know they telling you love but then they not showing you the love and or they're not doing the things properly and just say the Lord then that's when it's time for you to leave. You don't accuse no one but God will give you the spirit of discernment to see and that's a spiritual thing I don't know what's going on in that particular Church. I thank God for the ministers and the five fold because they bless people in ways that a lot of people and specially the spiritual leaders you know the the leaders the genuine leaders because like you said you have people that claim that they lead us but they don't stand by the word of God either and like I said you supposed to pour into the people of Christ not making them do something or like you said trying to control control is no Jesus don't make us he don't doesn't control us and make us serve him he want us to serve him with our whole entire heart not half all of it if you going to surrender you going to surrender wholeheartedly to Jesus but I do appreciate this man and the word that he is presenting today cuz it's food for they say soul food soul food is edible but the spirit needs the soul food as well to be fed properly and if you're not being fed properly with the word of God then you will not be able to stay strong and because the flesh is weak and you need the word of God to be a keeper of your spirit man.
