Great review. I keep dipping my toe in the Coros world, but have always ended up sending it back. I want to like it. I like their app. But man, when are they gonna get rid of the idea that they need a printed graphic around the bezel of the watch!? They always have that. Distracting, unnecessary, and cheesy.

Great video. I love coros because of their software updates. But yes they are a little behind of the competition.

Always like your videos, I agree on the font size for notifications, it needs road labels, and a flashlight, but I’m not sure what you’re talking about that it’s $50 more than the Race S. They’re the same price at $349. I’ve had the Race S, but the battery life on it was terrible compared to the Pace Pro. I’m getting 18-20 days on gesture mode with lots of training, which is better than I got with the Enduro 3 which is like wearing a Sherman Tank on your wrist! Looking forward to the Vertix 3 Amoled!

Totally agree, the font is too small in the message. it can't be my daily watch because of that!

Thanks for the detailed video! Did you move on from the Fenix 8 and Enduro 3? I know the F 8's had dozens of bugs at release that had ppl questioning the cost.

@@joeabb honestly the F8 is the best watch on the market ever, in my opinion. I just couldn't afford it to keep it at the end of the day. Literally saving to build a purchase it again in the future, but for now I have been using an F7X projust add the latest components and the flashlight!

@@fitgearhunter Thanks for the response! Understand 1000%. Honestly, smart sensible move when you (others) already have a top of the line Garmin like 7x Pro! 1st world problem...MIP/Amoled ha but I get it. The 8 Pro or whatever the next Fenix is called will be the one to get. Best

Nice review! The Pace Pro, as well as the Race S, detects naps very well, whereas the Fenix 8 doesn’t always do so. What I also liked about the Pace Pro is that, in the morning, if you sleep a bit longer-even outside the “Do Not Disturb” hours-it recognizes that you’re still sleeping and stays in DND mode until you wake up. The inability to increase the text size was a deciding factor for me. Currently, I’m testing the Race S Standard Black (purchased for 300 euros), but I found an offer for the Forerunner 965 in gray, new, for 360 euros. Perhaps you could give me some advice? By the way, I’ve watched your Race S reviews three times. I really like your approach. Specs and other details I can read on official websites, so I appreciate honest opinions based on real use. I also returned the Fenix 8 Standard 47mm.

@@constantinvijoli dude thank you so much! That is some helpful feedback and really appreciate the kind words. And it makes me crazy that they made the damn text size so small! It makes no sense whatsoever. Honestly I think the 965 at €60 more is a pretty great deal. The extra screen space is just huge at 1.4 inches, so it makes the whole experience awesome, plus it's just a more awesome Watch than the race S. Let me know what you decide!

I wish there was a way for them to calculate or give a data point more reflective of people who do resistive based training. Like crossfit or just body building. Whoop prob tries the best, but i dont trust them. I would trust Garmin if they did something like that.
@fitgearhunter21 күн бұрын
@@GarminPro you know that's a totally valid point. Like to calculate the workload into a workout evaluation. I do really like that WHOOP has that option of assessing strain for the work done. It would be really hard to accomplish but I wish more Watch manufacturers tried!

I really wanted to like this watch but coming from Garmin it just pales in comparison. I returned the watch, went back to my Venu 3 and then just recently picked up a Fenix 8. Unfortunately, Coros isn’t even close to Garmin yet in just about every aspect. Thanks for your review!
@fitgearhunter21 күн бұрын
@@billkimura4512 thanks for the feedback and that is awesome! The F8 is just a perfectly designed watch, to me. And I can't afford to own one! I do think it's a little bit overpriced but I also do think it's the most premium all in one watch so for those that can afford it it's just the best

I’m surprised coros is still in business. There watches and software are outdated and don’t see I’m a bit surprised that Coros is still around. Their watches and software seem a bit outdated, and I haven’t heard of any new models coming out.

@@dnice362 hahaha they do have a lot going for them but not entirely - actually or ironically one of the future videos I'm going to do is how the Suunto Race S is the best value watch on the market for the price point

@@fitgearhunter I like Suunto style but no downloadable music is a the biggest red flag in all of red flag history. Garmin is expensive for a reason
@fitgearhunter21 күн бұрын
@ yes I can totally see that, that is a really competitive point that Garmin has far above the others because it is so easy to do so with their watches that allow it, and so absent everywhere else. I guess I just don't see that as a often used featurefor most people, but that could be my own wrong perception!

Agreed, Garmin is currently the better option. However, if they manage to release a substantial update for strength training, it could tip the scales a bit-at least for me. Great review! Thanks!
