I love the 'not my horses' idea and would love to see more of them this year! Is the best vlogmas I've seen. Something that's interesting would be to have you ride with a trainer on their horse and then take the lesson and put something of it into practice on your own horse and see how that impacts your riding.

I would definitely love to see more of this series, and definitely a mix of some horses you rode this year and some new ones. Also 100% NEED another visit to Iceland to see the horses progress in their training. For the year watching you take lessons whether its your horse or not would be great so we can see you learning and growing. Watching your confidence grow has just been amazing! Absolutely LOVED your vlogmas this year. By going to Iceland you moved outside your knowledge base, so maybe next year pick 5 disciplines/breeds that you have never experienced and do a video of yourself trying them. For example.. going to their native country as you did with the Icelandic horse to ride an Andalusian, or Peruvian Paso, or try competitive driving. Move away from what you know and let us all experience it with you.

This was a **FANTASTIC** series -- your best vlogmas ever. I can't imagine what you'll do to top it next year. Plus having 2 falls and then riding others' horses made it so much harder for you and good for you too, as you say. Otis and Rich were my faves -- I actually watched it a couple times, with others the next times. Rich was so funny and you two were delightful together. Your riding looked very good on all the horses, and I really admire that you put everything in, and is an inspiration to all your viewers. I think your only "fault", if any, is that you are a little hard on yourself. You have to remember in these instances, you are not only riding someone else's well-trained to them horse, but they are giving you their feedback too. For example, with Vossi, Charlotte was telling you repeatedly to hold him tight and high (without meaning to be mean, I think she could take another look her position on this and maybe take some lessons to help her relax more with Vossi), and so you had to follow her instructions. You are a fabulous window into the higher end of equine sportsmanship, Megan, and I really appreciate all the adventures you take us on. Iceland was beyond breathtaking. Thank you, thank you, thank you. :)

I started watching right about the time you started the “not my horse series”. I was so impressed with your courage. I’ve ridden some big horses, not as big as Odin. Had some colorful falls and I understand how tough it can be to climb back on. You have a beautiful seat and I loved watching you ride these horses and expanding your knowledge and skills even though it was so scary. Love the “not my horses” - the name and the series! It is so interesting to live vicariously through your experiences and how you shared your learning. I can see how it’s easy to get into a “rut” with your own horse - and know what to expect and how they will react. Having these experiences in other horses is great for us all!! It’s also easy to think, “Oh I could ride that super well-trained horse”….yeah, most of us couldn’t get a walk out of them! That was actually both fun to see, but also humbling. My vote for 2022 - same break out (jumper, dressage, etc), but maybe 2 of each. 😊 Happy New Year!! ❤❤❤

Love this series, think it was fantastic for you, in terms of putting you beyond your comfort zone, but having amazing coaches to help you through those wobbly moments. I would say same coaches/trainers, as they know you a bit, they know what your like. Maybe you ride their horse, and they ride yours if something like that was possible. I think it would be an invaluable tool to have someone so experienced sit on yours. For both you and your ponies. 😊

Riding all the different horses showed me what a really good rider you are and such a good student on top of that. Each trainer, and horse for that matter, brought out something better in you. Mongolia for sure! Excellent ideas you have! Maybe also ride a Mustang and help raise awareness-- Emily Wallace has multiple Mustangs that she has adopted and trained-- they go beautifully. I believe at least one of them has experience XC as well. And then perhaps also she could sit on a PRE and collaborate with Jesse Drent-- I think he is a wonderful horseman, as is she (very kind riders, humble, impressive rapport with the horses, etc.)

There are so many amazing Mustang trainers in the states. She could easily hook up with one of the regulars at Mustang Makeover. I'd also be interested to see if Meg has any interest in breezing racehorses. There are so many fun disciplines to choose from.

I loved this year's vlogmas! Definitely best ever--both educational and entertaining. I'd definitely watch a repeat. I think it would be nice to have a mix of old and new. I found this so very interesting and such a learning experience! I Seeing you ride your ponies is obviously always informative, but I find when you put yourself on display while riding a horse you never have before, we can see you working through any quirks or making changes to your riding as you go. I vote for more riding other people's horses!

I absolutely LOVED it. It was so fun to meet the different riders and their horses. + see you adapt to the horses. Incredibly informative aswell. I don't have a favourite they were all really awesome to watch and I feel like in the first 2 I also really learned something that I could take home and practice with my horsey with. I'm so greatful of your video with Mr Iceland. Long story short. I've been riding my whole life but due to certain circumstances growing up I developed PTSD which really fundamentally changed my bond with horses. My horse became my most succesful therapist. They feel and understand energy in a whole different lvl. It's in the saddle that I began to feel free again and most safe. To see someone approach horses in such a mindful manner and focussed in on that energy. it was very reminiscent of the life lessons my horse taught me and the techniques I'm most familiar with using in my horsemanship. Aswell as in day to day life to escape the hyper vigalant state of my mind and cope. It was incredible to see and listen to mr Icelands approach to horsemanship. I'm so glad you introduced me to him. Christmas is always tough for me (family and stuff) Thank you your videos truly made it a christmas to look forward to. Whatever you do next year follow your heart. Edit: a trip to Iceland is definitely going on my dream list.

I love watching both you competing and your training. Your thinking in regards to choices of what and why, but also tracking the progression. You might want to go a bit further on this. Analyse the current situation for you and your horses, how you choose your milestones and goals towards Badminton, and creating a plan for getting there. To hear your thinking as a trainer, what to plan for? what pace/speed of progression is realistic? Also not only for your competition horses, but also the younger ones. How to create a long term plan for creating a competition horse. In short, what is between your ears that have gotten you to where you are now as a rider and trainer! Keep up the great work, and we love taking part of your journey and experiences, your willingness to share it all, and your humor, passion, and great attitude!

I Loved the vlogmas this year. I feel I learned a lot right along with you. Finishing in Iceland was truly MAGICAL!! Loved your trying such a diversity of other horses. Your learning curve and comments made your Vlogmas videos truly special. Don’t faint, but I’d love to see you actually show one or two of these other horses. Not Grand Prix dressage necessarily, but showing one of them at show jumping at a height a step up from the height you jump with Jam. I think that you’d have a breakthrough about height by doing that.

By far the BEST vlogmas ever!! Please do it again - it would be brilliant to see a mix of new horses and horses you rode in this vlogmas (to see their/your progression). Also, in the same way you concluded this year with Icelandic horses/riding, it would be amazing to see you doing something similar again next year but with a new horse breed or horse culture - either locally in the UK or abroad (no pressure, sorry!!) - as in maybe it could be themed every year? I think that trying different equine sports on either your own horses or borrowed ones would be a great option. Some things that you could try are endurance, horseball, polo, horseback archery, vaulting, racing, and mounted games

Loved the series, dressage rider here, and appreciated how you had mentioned riding the dressage horse to be the hardest. I think you should try and have another or lesson or two on the dressage horse. I have similar issues in the canter with my horse, when I don't package her up and she is the fiery dressage horse

Yes the same idea! I loved it! Maybe some other disciplines like western, working equitation, on the track with a thoroughbred, driving a carriage.

Loved seeing how your confidence and riding grew throughout that series. The dressage was amazing, as was the Eventing Ride you did. I love Simon, he is highly entertaining. But i think my favourite has to be the Iceland adventure. The ponies are like Shetlands on Steroids. And the relationship they have with Mr Iceland is amazing. How about tackling other horse adventures. Horseboarding, Scurry Driving, Skijoring, or maybe Endurance Riding. Something a bit different.

I loved this series - it was entertaining and educational. For the next one I'd love to see you in Spain riding PREs, or Portugal with the Lusos. Maybe doing traditional cow-work skills or working equitation? It's such a different style of riding.

I loved seeing you coming to terms with the aftermath of Bicton - I really think it was important for you. It would be great to see how you are riding a year from now, because I feel it will have changed, because you have. Hope you feel better soon - and listen to your body, if it needs a couple of days under a duvet, on the sofa, in front of the telly.

I would love to see job ridden horse videos, such as groundwork, horse ability of liberty because a lot of riding channels focus on ridden stuff with horses but so many people have non ridden horses and companions and it would be nice to feel inspired about them as well. Also loved the Iceland videos and would love to see other "horse wisperers" on the channel!!

I loved this idea and definitely think you should do it again. Would love for you to revisit Iceland so we can watch the younger horses progress and see what a stage that young wild one is at in a years time
