Epic job! This song is so fun to play, and it’s just a great song in general! Thanks for the break down!

Excellent! That was definitely worth the effort Timothy ! - non-worship drummers have it so easy !! I wouldn’t go back having experienced some of the complex 5/4 time sigs and section patterns.

Hey Timothy, I'm so stoked that you have 26K subscribers now!!!!! When I was in KZbin and I saw the notification icon for your channel, I knew you were doing What I See as your next video. I already played this song by learning from Chris Stanley because you didn't post this yet, but I will definitely use this in the future. See you at the premiere!!

@@TimothyCincala for real man! I struggled the most with the bridge! That right hand moving between the snare, floor tom, and crash is wild along with the some of the crazy fills!

@@DangerCheck I agree so much it's very heard to play. It's been tough but i got it down. What's really hard is when that floor tom comes in.

@ricardoconqueso2 жыл бұрын
Another good vid. I’ve done this one a few week back. Honestly the only challenging part is choosing to hit the floor Tom with the same rhythm as the bass drum in the beginning. It’s unnecessary and Bethel probably has another aux drummer doing that on a floor Tom. If you’re not dead on, you get this flam effect which sounds messy
@calebengler18352 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I have same problem.
@sashaman123410 ай бұрын
Just try it at a slower speed lock in the rhythm on the open hats with the kick locked in, then slowly crank that speed up, then slow back down and just move the right hand to the Tom every now n then to cover the original groove then speed that, then crank the speed back up with that original pattern and bada bing bada boom
@reaper69316Ай бұрын
No elevation music video actually has the drummer doing this part it shows it, but they re-released a different version with much lighter drums because it's honestly overkill.

Awesome job, per usual! Loving your Heartbeat cymbals, man! Would you say that your Epic ride and Epic crash can be pulled off for pop-punk style music as well?
