30 years old and I can truly say that you’ve pushed me to make more intentional decisions. I bought Atomic Habits because of your recommendation and I am happy to say that it has helped me! What I’ve decided is that if I just do a few more things than I normally would, if I read for a few more minutes, or I devote an extra 5 minutes of cleaning I am doing something better for myself and my family! But I appreciate fiercely that you also show the struggle part of this as well. I have anxiety, that leads to depression and makes me feel overall… worthless. My anxiety gets to a point where I know I need to get up and do something, but I can’t. It’s too much. Thank you for relatable. Thank you for honest. I have so much respect for how you put yourself out there at such a young age. You’re doing God’s work babe. I love how she is so grateful for everything; especially being so young. Most youngsters now a days are blind to just how much the average person struggles. America needs to do better because people working about 80hrs in two weeks shouldn’t only be bringing home about $1,000/$1,100 (mind you this is my pay making $17.38 per hr.); about $2,000 per month income. That’s about how much rent is nowadays… no money for anything else. It’s scary to think about. People may say oh well just work more … honey I wasn’t born to work my life away. And also people have children/other obligations not everyone can or should have to work copious amounts of hours to be able to support themselves/have other things.
