Good for you. You are smart with your money, unlike most millenials. You live in one of the most expensive cities in the world and show you can budget to spend less money so that college loans can be paid off, especially since the average college graduate starting salary is $51K a year. From your budget, you can easily pay off $500 a month to pay back student loans (if you have any, but it shows that anyone can). So sick of millenials who make $51K a year out of their first year of college saying they can't pay back an average college debt of $30K when they make over $250K within 5 years of graduation because they can't sacrifice luxury and convenience and ask others who didn't go to college, or ask people who did sacrifice to pay off their loans for them. And so sick of these politicians pandering with student loan forgiveness when a college grad can easily pay pack the average $30K in student loans within 5 years. I saw in your other video that you are looking for investments. Since you are self employed, I would look into solo 401Ks, SEP-IRAs, and/or Keough Plans. Ask your account about the benefits and differences of each. Even if you don't know what you are doing, consistently put the same amount every month to at least buying the S&P 500 account. Even with as little as $500 a month, from your age of 23 to when you retire at 65, you should be able to accumulate near $4 million by the time you retire based on historical returns. In the future, when you make more money, you can still keep this basic investment so you'd be getting at least $4 million by the time you retire. Any additional contributions can be invested in other investments as your knowledge of investing increases. Also, when you buy your property, I'd recommend setting up a corporation to buy the property since it is an investment property. And for each investment property, set up a new corporation. But it also depends on your long term goals such as if you want to leverage your equity to buy more properties, but it is good to set up each investment property as separate corporations. You are well on your way to becoming a multimillionaire by sacrificing things here and there and recognizing that every little bit adds up. As studies have shown, millionaires are millionaires because they save money, which is why it seems like some of the wealthiest people seem stingy. They aren't stingy, but they keep to a budget and know that saving money is extremely important to building wealth. And you are right. Ignore those people such as those on social media who think just because you have money, you should live a better lifestyle. One can always change their budget as their incomes rise to live a better lifestyle, but they should always stay on that budget. The goal is to save, not spend everything you make.

You probably won’t see this but just a comment on the docs, they are the BEST boots ever. But if you plan on wearing them every day/most days in the winter I recommend breaking them in before or just know that the first two weeks of wearing docs low key suck but once they are broken in they are yours for life and they’ll be the most comfortable boots ever. Unless you got the soft leather ones those require little to no breaking in.

this really shows how expensive new york is cause this whole video I'm like "oh, that's really similar to how I spend" but I end up spending like 150-200 a week in a cheaper city! also, i spent 180 on docs in august and I've worn them pretty much every single day for the past two months and don't plan on stopping. good investment :)

Pro tip! Buy a Pentax K1000 film camera with a 50mm lens on eBay! It’ll cost around $50, and then you can buy any sort of film that you like. The pictures will be much better than the ones you get from a disposable camera, and it’ll be much cheaper in the long run because you’ll only have to buy film for it, and not a new body every time.

I think being able to justify each of your purchases is essiential to budgeting which you were able to do.
