Dogs hate grated/see through type steps because as they look down they perceive the open ground below and not really the step itself. They need to practice going on them to get more comfortable. Some never really get fully comfortable, but will do it to please the handler. I was a sergeant in a police K9 Unit a few years ago.

What a pleasant surprise to turn on KZbin this morning & find a new video you posted!! I started glasses in 5th grade. An advantage of aging is I just had cats surgery about 2 months ago & now have 20/20 vision without glasses. Once in awhile I catch myself almost go to push up my glasses. Like you, I alway try to see a silver lining in not so good situations. Keep smiling & “may the force be with you!”

You are right about comparing living in a home vs a car, expenses are wildly different. You needed to replace tires ($498), I had to replace a roof ($2368) there are things that will increase for you in the car, fuel will go up crazy by the end of the year. Food will follow with truckers charged more for diesel, everything on that truck will cost us more. I hope your diesel rig gets really good mileage or you're planning short trips. Thanks Maria for sharing your expenses, it helps those looking at doing what you have done and you explain this very nice. Has the new rig been found yet?? Take care and you and Blue stay safe.

Agreed, Idaho is the best (born and live here). I go 3 to 4 weeks outside Stanley for salmon spearing with First Nations fam 👌. Kayaking is the best, calm waters. Safe travels.

Dogs toes go thru the grates and it hurts them. That's why they don't like them. It's not always just the view. They can actually break toenails on them. Try some boots on him, they help a lot. I'd give anything to pay that for gas, it's $6/gallon for regular right now in CA. Your state is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Wow did not expect that number, great information I recently bought 4 new tires and that ran me about 1 day of work loss, and no overtime work needed the break. And tires $450 , install ,$60 and stress hoping tire didn't blow, did see a couple chunks fly out. So maybe about $1500 day.. wow 👌 your travels are much better than my day lol. Has anyone told you Blue is so cute just being Blue!?

I’ve worn glasses since I was nine years old. My 4th grade teacher noticed I squinted when I read books. Anyway, been wearing them all my life. It’s just like anything in life. Trust I know it may look as though its simple to run down grated steps but the thing is they are smart for their own safety at his age, he's being cautious because it only takes one slip to hurt himself.My sister's dog hurt herself really bad and she had all these issues just from a fall, that t h e vet wanted to put her to sleep or offered a $5000 surgery. Please watch out for that beautiful puppy I know you will. ❤️

When my Brodie (aka Bubby as well) was a puppy, he was so scared of my apartments stairs because he could see through them lol. The steps were concrete but they were open at the back. He eventually got used to them and would go up them so fast his leash would yank him back down a step... I was like DUDE slow dooowwnnn lmao. I miss that pupper a bunch... been gone since 2015.

If you like that stairway, take a trip to the LumberJack memorial near Tawas/Oscoda and go up n down those staircases, on a calm morning in the fall that area is nice looking as well.

Also, I would have said ‘robbed’ too, but I can see where the ‘burgled’ camp are coming from - it was clearly the work of a Hollywood-style gang of professional cat burglars. They would have had a safe cracker, a first floor man, a fence, a planner and some muscle to deal with anyone that tried to stop them from stealing your food. That area by the river looked pretty.
