i agree with the fact that ppl who are critical of others the most are really critical of themselves deep down. I think they're so conscious of it because they know how easy it is for them to be critical of others and they fear the same treatment from others. Their criticisms become their inner voice .

hm, when you talked about "healing", i somehow suddenly remembered a time, about a year and a half ago around christmas, when i was in a bad space and i turned to your videos for comfort and you told me something along the lines of "you cannot pour from an empty glass"... i'm definitely in a better place now, and seeing as to how you too are a changed and better person from the Annabelle back then, allows me to believe that some good can come out of this world despite how seemingly cruel it is, as long as we give it time. thank you.

I really enjoyed your explanation and the way you’ve lived reading through the book, the whole concept of silence while flipping a graphic novel is something I struggle with. I think it’s because I’m more a writer and a reader than anything else, so I crave words more than drawings, which is why I found so interesting to hear your perception of it. Big love

annabelle, I always watched your vlogs this past year when I was living in the dorm for the first time. I would put them on when I needed to be motivated and get stuff done, when i watch your videos I think of the time I spent there. living in the dorm really suited me. In march I had to move mine and my roommate's stuff out. while my dad and I were moving, he suddenly collapsed. he had a heart attack, he died in that dorm. my life will never be the same after what I saw and lost that day, but watching your stuff helps me feel normal again, and I can think of better days where I had smaller things to worry about. thank you for that.

Reply 1988 too is genuinely my favourite kdrama if not favourite of the whole genre of tv series. It‘s so well written and acted. I‘ve never felt as much of a fit for actor & character as i have with this show. They really worked hard on that one. It’s absolutely funny and heart touching and so true in every aspect. PS: if you haven’t had it i recommend the biscoff creme but with crunch! it’s even better (in my opinion at least!) thank you for sharing your time with us again. much health and happiness to you, your family and cats !

Thank you, Annabelle. Lately, I have been struggling deeply with the shame of feeling insecure. All the articles I read on the internet seem to correlate toxicity to insecurity. I feel like any negative thoughts towards myself and others always stemmed from insecurity. I always feel so ashamed and want to get better. It was so cathartic hearing you speak about the stigma against insecurity and how we can always improve on ourselves in a compassionate way. Hearing you speak brought me a lot of hope!

Yesss I loved the movie 1917 and I totally didn't think I would. I was never really a fan of war movies. I remember seeing it in the theater and after like a good 45 minutes in I was so amazed when I realized it was a continuous shot. I love how atmospheric the movie is. I really appreciate movies that are not only just focused on the story but also the ambience, the sounds, and the way shots are composed. It really shows how those things can really impact a film.

It's impossible to deny how hard working you are, and I am so excited to see what this new chapter in your life brings you. I know that due to the pandemic that not all things are going to plan, but I have no doubt in my mind that you will be successful, where ever life takes you. I came across your channel back in 2017, right after I graduated from college in New England and was in a moment of post-bacc crisis that I think many often experience. I cant remember the exact video, but the vlog/get ready with me/soft transition montage edits overlaid with TV Girl ambience had me instantly hooked. Your perspective on an everyday experience is so refreshing and I feel so present with your vlogs. At a time when I was processing my quasi graduated life and getting stressed about what will come next, your videos were-and still are-a wonderful reminder of being present with yourself and taking the time in the day to reflect and heal. Thank you Annabella! P.S. I recommend Jakob Ogawa 🎵
