"DO NOT BOX YOURSELF INTO ANY NICHE" YES, babe! Everything online (in the world of entrepreneurship, content creation, copywriting, etc) tells you to niche. Niche, niche, niche. I've been so overwhelmed with that, and don't identify with any ONE subject. So, I'm on a mission to find that sweet spot where I can be of service/monetize from just being ME. Loved this, bc it's so opposite of the noise online! 💕

Dear Helena: I'm a firm believer that truth is truth, whether it comes from the mouths of sages or babes. Although you're young enough to be my daughter, thank you for striking my inner tuning fork, and for reminding me that I'm supposed to walk to the beat of my own drum, and to rabbit-hole whenever my gut tells me to do so. After nearly twelve years of trying to synthesize multiple disciplines into a single cohesive path to self-healing, I was about to give up. Both this video and your previous one reminded me to go easy on myself, to make myself the brand, to pivot as my gut sees fit, and to dare to be disliked in the service of being true to myself for my own betterment and that of Humanity. Thank you for restoring my hope: you are truly a blessing. 🙏

Yesss! I definitely relate to all of this as a MG. I get very itchy & resistant when pushed to niche, (this seems to be the blanket approach now), but it just doesn't work for me, and I have a visceral response to feeling boxed in. It can even almost feel a little insulting - as though we're 2 dimensional beings. I've done 3 degrees including a PhD in Lit, I'm also a herbalist (I studied health science as well as had a lifelong love of plants). I've been a lit and history teacher at uni, have been an old school blogger (in ye olden days of the internet). I've studied and practiced permaculture garden design, and I'm now a practicing Hellenistic astrologer and writer. But I know people can find it hard to "trust" that diversity. But we're multi-passionate! And our passions are the threads of gathered wisdom that make the weave of us, and feed into our various practices. I truly believe it makes what we do all the richer, deeper and more nuanced for it. Thankyou for such a lovely message and for being a kindred spirit!💫❤

Stumbled upon this video. I'm a 1/3 MG. That mastery bit hits so hard. When I look at my career , I notice I get antsy to leave a job around the 2-2.5 year mark. It's because I've learned to master the job and to do it effectively. Once I hit that point, I'm ready to go. I've been at my current job 4 years and oof do I feel it. Also, thanks for sharing that bit for the entrepreneur & creative type MGs because I fell into that "I have to niche" trap while simultaneously bucking against it.

Something that’s helped me as an MG is to think of my feelings as either- instinct or intuition. Instinctually I want to assume the worst in everyone because that keeps me guarded, but intuitively I know I can trust myself to identify a bad person. This helps keep me open to new things while also understanding my instincts are equally important but should not pilot decisions. If that makes sense

I am the octopus! I was told I need to niche but I was having trouble narrowing it down to just one thing. I am a 6/4 MG. In one of my profiles I said “ I dabble in a little bit of everything!” Bc that is what I do. I do many different crafts. Not just one. This video helped me realize that I don’t have to pick just one thing. Thank you!

It’s also the belief „people want to see certificates to see you as a professional“. But I‘m not this certificate person (anymore) I cherry-pick what I need (like the Pareto principle) in any area to be successful in finding real solutions rather than just talking about it.

Wow.. the feeling of being understood is something different. I enjoyed your video. The benefit of living our design is youthfulness. I've been a student/practitioner of astrology for 14+ years. Recently, I thought about creating something for Yod Bearers. Yods can be overlooked as insignificant. Now add that to being an MG, and I truly went through a phase of embarrassment. When the apex of my Yod is triggered by transits, I think it heightens the speed at which I need to drop something, AND it moves me into something else. It's a response directly to the Universe--to my Moon (my Yod apex) I started studying Astrology in response to the Moon. I had a deja vu moment with the Moon at the same location (subway station near my apt) and the same time of year for two consecutive years. Cheers!

Hi Helena! Finally! It actually feels good to hear someone else spelling it out so clearly here! I found this video quite helpful. There have been times that I thought there was something wrong with me and the way I am...I feel like a real octopus, with so many interests that becomes difficult to focus on one thing only...but this is how I am meant to move with no guilt or shame. This is so true, every time I tried to stay focused only on one topic or one thing, I end up losing interest and sparkle. I particularly like that phrase of yours "Do Not Box Yourself Into Any Niche" This conversation really made a big difference to me. Thank you!

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT VIDEO! Attract and Repel is just what I needed to hear. My channel has been in flux and stagnation since I got back from Greece last June. My sister, who I just found out last week, is a manifesting generator told me when she watches my videos, she feels like she's stupid and she's right. She is stupid because what I say is so provocative and shocking to most people. It's the truth and she doesn't like to hear it. I was editing a lot of my videos to try to make them more friendly to stupid people and I just realized from listening to you, that if I repel others big f****** deal. They're not my audience, I will attract a lot of people and that may mean, very, very, very, very few people may watch my videos, but my videos are honest, truthful and to those people who are in alignment with me, they're funny as f***. All I really need to do is properly title them, so people will know what they will be watching cause right now the titles I have are not really expressing what the video is really about.

can i be honest, i am actually a type of manifesting generator that easily pull things and generate it and simply manifest in my 3D. I am actually a master manifestor not just for myself but I also have the ability to do for others. It's easy for me to do so. I just have to be clear with it. Clarity is essential. I have done it several times. In my early years like early 30s, i have been doing it unconsciously that i thought it's normal but now knowing how reality works...It actually came to me so naturally. I am a bit discerning now because i can easily do so in my reality whatever it is.

Love the point about being so fully yourself that you naturally attract and repel people. Now I'm sure we're not gonna share the same opinions on everything, but I personally hate the PC trend that's going on right now that if you say ever slightly a controversial or potentially offensive thing you get called out for "hate speech" or all sorts of -isms and -phobias like you're a bad person for being opinionated. And as someone who's on the spectrum, I'm so fed up with the possibility of being pointed out for having "internalised ableism" lol No thanks, I just think for myself and am not afraid to speak my mind.

Loved the video thank you!!! I want to tell you about my experience: I havent niched in my social media for a very long time and it didnt help me I was not consistent and people probably couldnt trust me as they didnt understand what to expect from me. I have niched since 2 years and it helped me a lot but when I think I have enough audience I can pivot as well but please keep in mind you have to pick the niche you are more interested in for the first few years which is basically what you were saying before your camera was dead. This way people will begin to know you and your personality and your values.. and its not only your content but also the responses you give to your audience in the comments they tell a lot about you. And this way; you wont have to feel the burden of creating a lot of different things, be basic, this will help your audience to see your excitement and expertise about your niche. ❤❤❤ But what I do I dont really burden myself with sharing everyday on instagram but I have a youtube channel I make videos everyweek, this is better for me as I am also a homemaker. Niching has helped because the topics that are expected from me comes from the questions in the comments or it is already out there in many other creators content. I just pick the topic that speaks to me and do my research and put my spin on it. Not niching could be overwhelming when you are not recognized and you dont have that audience yet. Think about a celebrity you love for example JLo was doing singing, cooking, parenting make up in the first day that she was presenting herself to the world. You wouldnt take her seriously. But she begins with singing, then movies then make up then cooking, parenting etc will follow because the audience already knows her through her niche and it is okay to move to other branches as people are now curious about her.. this applies to everyone. Be more about people first then you can be more about yourself. This is my pov. And also I heard in another youtube video which said that MG s 5/1s are like the image people see behind the curtain from the street and they should stay a little mysterious as people tend to see them as their heros and problem solvers. So if you are an MG 5/1 it might be better to stick to your niche and dont go too personal or too everyday like with your audience and clients. 🤷🏻♀️ like dont tell them about your personal life , your struggles too deeply. you have to have your superhero mask on so they can continue to see you as their problem solver and expert. Think of you as a celebrity people dont want to see you with your sloppy clothes and messy hair because what they adored in the first place is your put togetherness and your energy through your image. Your mysteriousness and strength will be lost pretty quickly. But maybe when you have a very stable career that people already trust this may not apply as quickly.. Or maybe theres another balance that I have not discovered yet but I wanted to help MG 5/1 with my experience. ❤ love your content thank you 😘🌸❤️❤️
