🩺✨Additional tips I forgot to mention:✨🧿 1. Don't be afraid of rejection when looking for preceptors. I asked over 20 providers (MDs, NPs, PA's) to precept me who said "No" before I got a "Yes"! You can check linkedlin, ask providers at your work or ask friends if they know of any providers who are willing to precept. 2. I didn't listen to any podcast during NP school, but my classmates found "Cram the Pance" podcast really helpful to listen to while driving/commuting. 3. TV shows I loved watching during NP school was actually "Suits" on Netflix XD. It somehow motivated me to study and get my assignments done. 4. Make sure when you are studying that you actually take the time to understand the concepts and not just memorize information. You will need to know these information for boards and in your practice! 5. Decrease your time on social media. If you need to deactivate or just log off your account then do this! It will help decrease procrastination. 6. Please don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking you aren't smart or capable of being an NP. Your journey as a NP is a learning experience and you will continue gaining clinical experience and confidence in your practice. 👩🏻⚕🪬💛 Good Luck!
