Hi, I'm here from the dev team. We found your video, and absolutely love how you've experienced it! 1:15 - I've never seen someone investigate the water pockets before. We just put them there for gross drippy ambience, especially with the drip sounds mod, and seeing someone actually notice the implication of water overhead is a first, so here's a secret for you - some rooms (mostly ones in the grand lower layer of the dungeons, which hasn't been added to the public branch yet) have patterns and words written into the ceiling with water! The one you breached the dungeon through actually has a crying face, like the statue in the centre. 1:44 - "Why do you look like a fossil?" Petrified bursters are actually available through archaeology, among other things! 6:00 - We've fixed it since, but this tubed little bozo is supposed to break the glass and escape instead of being trapped. Whoops! 7:44 - You're right, we _should_ make them fit through stair edges... 9:04 - HAAAAAH, I've never seen someone try to pearl out of a hug! I'll see what we can do about that. 10:00 - THANK you for being the first player I've ever seen to actually poke around for the surgery kit instead of just looking in the creative menu or complaining about how there's no way to remove the parasite. Fair warning, though - a damaged surgery kit may behave accordingly! 14:48 - I didn't know JEI could let you see pandy! Little accidental peek behind the curtain, there. Anyway, you guessed correctly! Pandora's Box is the effect that every player in the world gets forever once Within These Twisted Halls... is triggered, and signifies that, well, Pandora's box has been opened and what has been released cannot be put back in. Currently it just results in little lopers spawning intermittently (about an order of magnitude more frequently than intended, actually, oops!) when players aren't looking, which was mainly a mechanical test for a much shinier upcoming infection system (which we should have proooobably kept indev until the whole thing was finished considering the amount of player complaints we got about pandy spawns ∑xd) 16:18 - Yup! Also, though it's currently disabled, all big mobs (except the thresher and templebeasts) will be capable of climbing walls and even ceilings! The Entombed Interlopers (or tombies) - which are the ones which you find in the dungeon and (currently) spawn from players - will also be able to crawl through one-block spaces, so adult lopers will be able to either smash through your defences with brute force (or a bit of self-harm to melt them with acid), sneak under them, or climb over the top! 19:34 & 20:02 - *what* ok brb 24:45 - Meet the Threshing Interloper! The threshing it's named after is still in the pipeline, so all it currently does is beat up aquatic animals with a lot of vigour, but it's secretly my favourite of the big three! ...even if I disagree with some of the model design choices. Did you know it took me a full year to convince the others that they should be blue instead of silver? 29:52 - That's just hypocritical, o dungeon raider ∑:P 30:34 - Dungeons which spawn in the sculk will actually spawn as specialised sculked-up variants! We consider the two as having an unlikely symbiosis - coming face-to-face with lopers will inevitably force players to run or fight, which then triggers the sculk. With the next update introducing a lot more entombed interlopers to the regular dungeons, the sculk variant will actually remain as lifeless as the dungeons you see here, so as to not force the players into constant combat in a sculk environment. What you encountered here was merely coincidental worldgen! 31:36 - "I didn't miss any, right?" If you're in a room where you have to ask that - i.e., one where the eggs aren't conveniently lined up - then yes, you missed one. Placement of eggs - and other threats, as you'll see in the upcoming updates - is always a question of "where's the single most inconvenient and hostile place I could possibly put this?" which leads to a lot of eggs under your feet, spore pods hidden in patches of shadow or around corners, and so on. We're proud of how much the dungeons can mildly but constantly screw with the players. 33:48 - NICE! I may have forgotten pearls exist entirely. Unlike the hugging thing, this won't be patched out, so pearls will be your best bet when stuck in resin! 33:58 - "I'm not a woman, what is this?" sounds like _someone's_ about to crack 34:45 - Yeah, coincidental worldgen again. The skull room is just another room, and this isn't what a sculk dungeon actually looks like. There's no lore connection between the sculk and interlopers, either, they just get along well! Other general notes: - Huggers don't target bats, creepers, or undead (among others) due to incompatibility. Bats are too small for their tubes, creepers are plants, and so on. - The empty sarcophagi, jars, and idols are patched! They're supposed to have loot in them, but that's currently just standard zombie dungeon loot. More unique rewards are in the pipeline, especially for the idol... that ancient debris it holds is actually purely cosmetic, and just exists as a placeholder ∑xd - I have no idea what makes the sarcophagi do that when you're not looking, but it's weird, so it has my support. Thank you very much for your showcase - we always appreciate the playthrough, and they tend to highlight things we missed or should focus on in future. We hope you had fun playing!

in order of reading NO DONT MAKE THEM FIT THROUGH STAIR EDGES yeah probs wanna change the twisted halls achievement so it doesn't proc outside the dungeon, maybe a proximity detector for the floor tiles? for the threshing interloper, it would terrifying for it to use its arms to launch itself at the player / rapidly crawl up the ground LISTEN I DONT PLAY HORROR GAMES OKAY the ancient debris actually works really well even though it was meant as a placeholder, good reason to visit the dungeon, not tempting to early game players, feels like a meteorite fragment type of material, was convinced it was a calculated move I HAD FUN THANK YOU LOOK OUT FOR THE OTHER GIGERESQUE VIDEO IM CURRENTLY EDITING this one was supposed to have 3 acts 1 - Exploration 2 - Experimentation (build a lab, sic the suckers on minecraft bosses and suchlike) 3 - Space Station Rescue Mission I scrapped the second act (i figured it wouldn't mesh well at its current stage), but act 3 should be out soon and i had a fkn blast torturing my friends with this

- I'ma make them fit through stairs ∑:3 - The floor is made of the same sets of tiles as the rest of the structure. The achievement already procs on a two-tile proximity to the dungeon blocks, which understandably will trigger outside the dungeon. I might bring up getting it set specifically to the pillar tile, though, as that's most commonly used for the floor... - The thresher will mainly assault things in water, with upcoming attacks like capsizing boats with a charge from below (like white sharks attacking seals (and surfers ∑xd)) and dragging non-fish prey down to the bottom to drown them. However, it will still be capable of crawling on land, as it already is! - The ancient debris will remain as one of the dungeon loot items, don't worry. It's just that the netherite scrap in the hand of the idol will specifically be replaced with something a lot more... significant in future, but that's a while down the track. - I'm very glad you skipped the "experimentation" thing. The mod creator famously _hates_ anyone who tries to trap or "experiment" on the interlopers, with special loathing for "labs" and other such structures. This is why the lopers will break glass and other weak tiles, cut themselves to use their acid to dig through thicker materials, or just plain go to sleep and turn into statues if they can't find anything to do. They're designed to be as annoying and boring to contain as possible, which is really undercut by the fact that the tile breaking was ironically broken for a while... those glass tube rooms were designed to demonstrate that the lopers _cannot_ be contained, but instead showed off that they can, whoops! i respect tf out of the mod dev for adding this entire alien facility filled with sickeningly-well implemented creatures with well-designed models and the apparently ONLY treasure in the entire facility is a few pieces of ancient debris which are found specifically in the rooms filled with alien eggs that can and do hatch at any moment. this structure exists purely to be nightmare fuel for anyone foolish enough to enter it and that's great
