I don’t agree with Padma’s mental state… I realize that it’s canon that she dies of a broken heart, but let’s get real here for a second. Padme has a stronger will than that…. She’s headstrong, she’s rash, and she’s self-confident…. She’s the type of person who can end up in the sacrificial arena on Geonosis and fight her way out of it without giving into despair. I recognize biology and postpartum depression and moodiness and mood swings and pregnant. Women be crazy…. But this is beyond ridiculous that she just gives up out of sadness, but especially that the medical facility couldn’t just hit her with an antidepressant and then knock her unconscious so that she didn’t give up because Obi-Wan told her “Anakin done bad things” Lady, your husband is a war criminal, he’s been a war criminal for years. This guy has killed countless tens of thousands of enemies rather brutally with a laser sword I might add, what the hell did you think Jedi generals were doing? If siding against the other war criminals, who were going to hunt him down and kill him for defending the chancellor suddenly makes you go apoplectic and want to die?, you got problems lady. Anakin should’ve just laid it out. Logically, “you’re member of the Senate Padme, did the Jedi have the authority to extrajudicially murder the chancellor because they thought he was a member of arrival gang? No they didn’t? Well hot damn, I guess I’m not the traitor am I, I’m just the only one who stood up for the rule of law and democracy. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.. I would also add that, I doubt the separatists would have any clue what happened to their former leaders …. Anakin wiped them out and left no survivors to tell the tale. I’m very much enjoying that Padme is a hypocrite, she considers it, morally defensible for her to wheeled Anakin like a weapon to go get rid of the people she doesn’t like, but she justifies that in her own mind…. Well, denying Anakin, the exact same courtesy. She will forever believe that the young wings in the temple were innocent and always hold that against him …. Even if he knows better. Padme will never be able to understand the indoctrination that a Jedi youngling goes through, she will never be able to understand the binary “us versus them” mentality that is instilled in every last one of them to fear and hunt down the Sith. “ only a Sith deals in absolutes.”….. except that the Jedi are the other side of that coin and will absolutely hunt what they believe to be evil, to the end of the universe….. leaving Anakin no choice, but to kill or be killed. If that didn’t work, he could use Asoka as his example …. Even with all of her history with Anakin, she still immediately tried to kill him because her Jedi indoctrination was so strong.

I mostly agree! My story in this video displays a few examples of it. I tend to wonder if it's because Anakin was created by the force as a response to the Sith's manipulation of the dark side.
