What if Anakin "only" burned but retained all his 3 organic limbs. During the duel when Anakin and Obi-Wan were fighting on the floating platform. The platform strikes a rock outcrop protruding from the lava and momentarily causes anakin to lose his balance. Obi-Wan who was waiting for an opening to exploit cuts off anakins mechanical arm, then pushes Anakin off the platform towards a nearby river bank. However due to the proximity of the lava and without the energy shielding the platform provided, Anakin bursts into flames as he's flying and lands on the bank engulfed in flames. Anakin despite being on fire, fuelled by his rage and more importantly still having 3 remaining limbs managed to put out the fire before it completely consumes him, but not before leaving 70% of his body with horrific burns. Obi-Wan struck with horror by the sight seeing his former apprentice so horribly burned remains frozen. Anakin now in agony as his rage and adrenaline wear off seizes the opportunity to escape despite the pain and some trouble breathing he uses to the force to enhance himself he retreats to meets up with the Emperor. Obi-Wan does give chase to Anakin but sensing the powerful presence of Palpatine, he decides to give up the chase. Upon Meeting the Emperor Anakin collapse and falls into unconsciousness. The Emperor although disappointed of Anakin's failure does not deem Anakins injuries as crippling but mostly cosmetic and orders a medical capsule from the clones and cart him into the shuttle next to an unconscious Padme. This sets up the potential of a full power Anakin, albeit disfigured but his lungs were not nearly as damaged requiring only a respirator and some minor life support much like Darth Malgus, which Sidious would exploit as a new role model for Darth Vader. The Emperor not seeing Anakin's potential completely crippled does give anakin better cybernetics and armor. Padme still dies in child birth The Emperor manipulating both Anakin and Padme into think one of the other is dead, he ships off the children to his citadel on exigol for training as potential backups for Darth Vader without Vader knowing.

What if Thrawn got disillusioned with helping the empire (because of their brutal tactics like slavery and waisting of resources like the Death Star) in order to help his people (from the far outsiders) so the good parts of the imperial military (like Veers, Pelion, and Sloan) usurped the palpatine and took control kinda like operation valkyrae

@@beatricesanfilippo6925sure in canon but original version of thrawn was less so and more of a pragmatic being and pacifism only sounds good on paper in reality you need a military so he simply choose the most logical choice at the time which happened to be the empire also read the thrawn trilogy if you want it goes very in depth with his character and his reasoning on why he’s with the empire in the first place and what happens after

There Has to be a Part 2 to this, Because What of Palpatine and Exegol? Snoke’s gone, yeah, but he was operating under the control of the Cloned Darth Sidious on Exegol. More importantly, what of Rey? I can imagine that not long after this, Ben has Force Visions of a desert world, and of a Specter of Darkness on it roaming its sands and he approaches it in his force vision and right as he’s behind her, She turns around and unsheathes a Yellow Lightsaber, before he wakes up, That would be an interesting start to Part 2, and an Alternative to “The Force Awakens”.

Usually I post what if ideas as they come to me. I had an idea come to me, but it's not one I particularly like. I'll say why afterwards What if the Skywalkers were part of a long line of Slavers? Shmi had no intention of continuing her family's legacy and was perfectly content with staying single the rest of her life. She had even become medically barren just in case. But then, one day with no explanation whatsoever so found herself pregnant. Her motherly instincts kicked in and she was determined to raise the child. Fast forward 8 years: Shmi is still a slaver, but she also works to free people where she can. What she's most worried about is her son. He sees the cruelty of slaves and while he has an innocent charm about him, she's also seen his dark glare towards other slavers - like the Hutts and Watto. Anakin also has an interest in pod racing and has an air of arrogance about him. One day, he sneaks off and makes a bet with Watto...one he comes to regret. Anakin loses a podrace (due to his own personal inexperience) and becomes a slave to Watto. Watto pushes Anakin further than what he did in canon. I wonder how Qui-Gon would deal with Shmi, Anakin, and Watto in this scenario? - This is all I care to think about in this scenario. Maybe you can do something with it. The idea popped into my head and it's been festering there for over a week. What I really hope for is that by at least putting it out there it goes away in my mind... I think by now in this day and age most sane people hate the idea of slavery. Putting the Skywalkers directly in as slavers may be a bit much. At least I feel that way. But hey, it is a what if scenario...right?

What if the civilisation of atlantis was founded by the old Republic on planet earth. However due to a series of both galactic disasters and planetary disasters both the old Republic and the people of earth forgot that the other existed. Earth got smashed back to the stone age. The old Republic lost all knowledge of the existence of earth. The high Republic find earth when earth is in it's neolithic age and begin to nurture the earth in the hope that the earth will eventually rejoin the Republic. Earth has multiple resources some quite rare galacticly including but not limited to kyber crystals, abundant gas deposits due to the multiple gas giants in the sol system and some rare metals that can rival beskar when alloyed together. Also there are force senstive humans on earth strong enough that with proper training could rival all but the strongest jedi on the high council. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
