When you think about it Padme and Ahsoka represented two emotions Anakin lacked during the Clone Wars. Padme was Anakin’s reason and Ahsoka was his patience. Without either around, Anakin was easily corrupted by Sidious.

Interesting analysis! I never thought about it like that. I see Padmé as the person who soothes Anakin and calms him down. Ahsoka gets Anakin to laugh and smile a lot, so she brings a lot of joy into his life.

I liked this one a lot. A lot of fan fic ultimately highlights the fragility of Palp's plans. And while this one doesn't destroy how silly his plans were, it takes a path that shows plausible contingencies he could have in place.

The Jedi were already doomed. Palpatine had them in Checkmate position. Now had Padme's vote of no confidence in Chancellor Vallorum failed, or had Palpatine lost the election , that would change everything

Not as much as you'd think. If the vote of no confidence hadn't gone through, Vallorum's time in office was very nearly up and Palpatine could have campaigned using the victory at Naboo as a way to sway votes especially by campaigning as a tough on corpos. He could have turned the victory on Naboo as a rallying cry against the corporate powers, which would sway those whose sympathy he was originally banking on in the no confidence vote. He and Plagius already had a good number of senators in their pockets.

Tbh, if I was a senator in the Senate during that scene, you have no IDEA how furious I'd be at the Senate as a whole. That could not more obviously be a discredit tactic. XD he doesn't even address the accusations of being a sith lord or controlling both sides, he just literally ad-hominems. I would literally leave and tell the leaders of my planet that the Republic was too corrupt to save and we should join the Neutral Systems. Can't wait to see part 2. :3

Teckla Minnau wasn't alive during ROTS, she died on Scipio in "Pursuit of Peace" episode of TCW. Also I think Padmé would have been at the apartment already since it wouldn't have taken that long for the "Padmé's Ruminations" scene to take place. Fun fact, she was first introduced as a background character in Attack of the Clones, serving Anakin the pear which he cut a piece and flew it for Padmé with the force. I wasn't aware of this fact until recently.

fun vid, though i find myself generally disagreeing with most of these sorts of alternate timeline fics. one main thing highlighted quite clearly in the expanded lore is that jedi/sith are basically a niche religion in the republic, a republic that gives huge deference to religious freedoms. calling palpatine a sith is basically meaningless and would more likely be viewed as intolerant religious persecution. any sort of official hearing would be entirely focused on the war crimes side of things i’d think.

No need to add the pics. Tbh extra detail isn’t needed. Like we don’t need the make and model of each star-fighter/ship. You can just say, “speeder,” or, “personal speeder.” Also in Padmé’s case, just say assistant or something, again there isn’t a need for the unnecessary information such as the name of her assistant. Ofc this is all my opinion, and I ultimately do enjoy your work, just not the over explaining. You don’t need to over explain. 😅
