No, by this point it was too late. The CIS could have overwhelmed the Republic early in the war if the Sith hadn't deliberately held them back, but the Republic's industry outperformed the CIS once it shifted to a wartime footing. The CIS always had a numbers advantage on the ground, but the Republic held the advantage in space, and that made a Separatist defeat inevitable, even without the Sith deliberately handicapping them.

With respect, Mace never hated Anakin. He simply didn't trust him. He had valid reasons for that too. I feel like a lot of people are too harsh in their critique of Mace Windu, including this channel it seems. But this is an overall solid What If story. Also side note, I feel that Dooku would end up seeking out Maul and Savage to form an alliance as a result of Palpatine's death. Even though Dooku and Maul were enemies who despised each other and Savage had betrayed Dooku previously, I do think they would be willing to become allies through mutual benefit. After all, they are Sith and would acknowledge that the death of Sidious would severely weaken their order. Just something I thought would make this What If story more interesting.

So this is a few months early but mace NEVER hated anakin. At all. He never trusted him and, despite him being “powerful” and a “great warrior”, that does not nullify the fact he is reckless in a position of power, of authority over people’s lives. A Jedi must have absolute discipline, something Mr “I hate sand” does not have, again, Wars do not make one great; Kindness, discipline, resolve and trustworthiness do. Mace did NOTHING WRONG.

As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use technoguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.

This is sound a little off topic but I’ve always thought Anakin wasn’t meant to be a “traditional” style of Jedi…I mean he was born on Tattooine during a time when the Jedi probably recruited force sensitive exclusively from worlds associated with the galactic republic and when he was ultimately brought into the order he was apparently deemed “too old” by the Jedi high council. Literally the force was trying to make a chosen one, that while not necessarily naturally drawn to the dark…was also still somewhat of an antithesis of what the then modern Jedi were suppose to be. I’ve always saw Anakin being something along the lines becoming something along the line of a gray Jedi or at least a Jedi from his son,Luke’s new Jedi order in Star Wars EU/Legends. 11:44

The Jedi believed the Chosen One would bring balance to the Force by destroying the Sith when it's actually one who would destroy the Sith *and* bring balance to the Force. A subtle difference. Balance is the Grey Code, not Jedi nor Sith. Granted, the Jedi were closer to the Grey Code than the Sith (hence they're called Grey Jedi and not Grey Sith), so the Jedi Order could be transformed. If only Qui-Gon was still alive and Dooku didn't turn to the dark side. All that said, I still think several members of the Council, including Obi-Wan, Mace, and Yoda could be part of this revolution. Mace already used both light and dark sides in his Vaapad fighting style, Obi-Wan had romantic relationships with both Siri Tache and Satine Kryze, and Yoda was open to the will of the Force. Ironically, it was Mace's attachment to the Republic and Yoda's fear of the dark side that prevented real change from happening.

I think it's worth mentioning that as much as Palpatine gave the Separatists info to help them, he intentionally held them back with Dooku's help. The droids are hyper competent when made right, and Grievous is nothing short of a true terror when he isn't being handled poorly. Dooku and Sidius are the reason the war was dragged out so painfully long on both sides. Any time one side or another was winning, they would nudge it back to a stalemate.

Finn, Rey and Ben Solo will be the three main characters. The Rise of Skywalker will be renamed 'Duel of the Fates'. Darth Plagueis will be the overall main villain and the Sith Eternal fleet is made up of Eclipse-class dreadnoughts.

What if Palpatine like how he manipulated Anakin into becoming close friends with him, manipulates Ahsoka in the same way from when she first became Anakin's padawan? What if Mace Windu was framed for the bombing of the jedi temple and ends up being convicted and given the same fate Ahsoka would have got, with Barriss never being caught? We can go down the route of Ahsoka still being framed originally but new "forged" evidence comes to light framing Mace instead with Ahsoka being found innocent.

What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia.
