I *LOVE* these what-if stories. There were so many pivotal points in the Prequel Trilogy, that changing any one of them could drastically change everything. It wasn't just one thing that caused Anakin to fall, it was many things. 1. Beginning on Tatooine, his mother. What if she had been freed alongside Anakin? - Anakin never fears for his mother's safety - Shmi doesn't die at the hand of the Tuskens - Anakin doesn't slaughter the Tuskens in revenge - With his mother safe, Anakin is more secure as a person, especially during his adolescent years as a Jedi Padawan - With no fear for her safety, Anakin doesn't need to turn to Palpatine for help (and consequently, trusts the Jedi Order more than originally) 2. Qui-Gon Jinn - Qui-Gon was supposed to be Anakin's father-figure and Jedi Master - If Qui-Gon didn't die, then Anakin would be his apprentice, and trained more truly in-tune with the Force, and not just the Jedi. - If Anakin was trained to be more in-tune with the Force, and not reject the dark side outright, he may have been less vulnerable to the dark side - If Qui-Gon were not killed, then Dooku would not have left the Jedi Order 3. Murdering Dooku (if Dooku left the Jedi Order anyways) - If Anakin had been less vulnerable to the dark side, and less trusting of Palpatine, he wouldn't have complied with Palpatine's order to kill an unarmed Dooku - With Dooku alive (and very much betrayed by Palpatine), he would have spilled everything to the Jedi (which would be far more likely if Qui-Gon was still alive) - In this scenario, it is likely that Palpatine would immediately reveal himself as a Sith and kill Dooku or try to, and issue Order 66 a bit sooner than before - At this point, if Order 66 were issued while they were all still aboard the Invisible Hand, they'd be super-dead. Every GAR fighter and ship would target them. - If Order 66 was not issued, then the Siege of Mandalore would have succeeded in returning control of Mandalore to the Mandalorians (even if still in Bo-Katan/the New Mandalorians' control), rather than subjugate and later massacre them as the Empire. And Ahsoka would not be targeted by Order 66 if it didn't happen. 4. Promotion to Jedi Master - If Anakin were promoted to the rank of Master, then he would trust the Jedi Order more, if not completely. - If his mother were alive and well, he would have enough trust from the Jedi Order to reveal everything about Padme, and it would go well. 5. Confronting Sidious - If Anakin had not been so thoroughly groomed by Palpatine, he would have trusted Mace and not interfered in their arresting of him - Assuming Palpatine only pretended to lose to Mace: Sidious slaughters the Jedi Masters as before and issues Order 66 - Assuming Mace actually beat Palpatine soundly: Sidious dies. Order 66 doesn't happen. Anakin is rewarded with the rank of Master for trusting Mace and ending the Sith.

What if Jar Jar was a Jedi? I feel like Yoda would be the only Jedi that would train him given the other Jedi would be to impatient to train him properly. Jar Jar would be opposite of Mace Windu, while Mace is serious Jar Jar would be the one that would go in a more passive approach. With Jar jar finding a middle ground in any argument when mace tries to has his way in the council. With the Jedi saying that Jar Jar and Mace keep each other in check with them having a sort of rivalry, but respect for the other. Jar jar being popular with young Padawan for being one of the nicer and easygoing Jedi. With the majority of the Jedi Knight being at most a acquaintance with him. Not enjoying being around because of how clumsy he is, but knows he is a good ally to have. With his only friends being Kit Fisto, Qui-Gon Jinn. and Quinlan Vos. He would likely be consider a gray Jedi because he would likely break the rules if jar Jar believe it the best option. Like after hearing that Anakin mother is still a slave in Tatooine Jar Jar would go and free her. Have her change her change her name and go to Coruscant. Ask Kenobi to led him train Anakin for a while a few times a month saying that Anakin need help with a experience teacher, but he is actually letting Anakin spend time with his mother. If the counsel learn of this Jar Jar respond that Anakin isn't like the other Padawans, he need his mother to be stable to not be influence by the dark side and help him be a easyer student to train. With the counsel being annoyed but agreed that Jar Jar is right. He would be like Jackie Chan in fighting style, making him a unpredictable fighter that use the environment while fighting with his lightsaber form a mixer of form 1 and 3.

I don't know about 'good.' More like "this rabid wolf is pointed away from us." When you take away his motivation to kill Jedi, what's left in terms of motivation? Kill these two sith, yes, but he _knows_ he can't beat Doku, so can you convince him to fight as a general? He isn't actually that good a general from what I've seen. Perhaps he would agree to limited information sharing. "If you find either Sith lord and want help, call us. We'll call you if we do, too." Then, maybe you'd get a fight with Obi Wan and Grievous against Doku? That'd look AWESOME.

In all reality, Anakin would wipe the floor with Maul. I love Maul and all but Anakin would be able to fend him off until Maul is disarmed. Whether he killed him or not is up for debate, but I don't think so without the persuasion of Palpatine to whisper into his ear to kill a defenseless prisoner. Dooku was really at the wrong place at the wrong time because Sidious only set up Dooku to be killed. Meanwhile, I believe Ahsoka would be leading the 501st against Maul's soldiers because she would not be required to lend Anakin any sort of assistance, but the men definitely needed help against the Mandalorians, and they were getting overwhelmed. With Ahsoka leading them, this would be a slightly easier battle and reduce casualties. This would basically be Revan striking out at the ones leading the battle and the Jedi Exile striking out the enemy soldiers and weakening their morals.

@@mr.j9125 yes Anakin is tricky in combat but Maul is too and is more skilled being versed in all seven forms of lightsaber combat and mastering forms 6 and 7 and has more raw power and skill in the force at this point being able to ragdoll Sidious rip the highper-drive-engines of a Venator out of there places and drop them on the clones where as Anakin even after going full dark side and gaining so much power he could only match obi-wan in the force while Maul ragdolls Kenobi like he is nothing

I doubt Celeb would have ever got the rank of master. 1. without order 66 theres just too many better options in terms of both strength and wisdom. 2. all his growth as a jedi happened after order 66 so he would be a completely different person. side point: people overrate Celeb because they like him as a character but both him and Ezra are probably some of the weakest jedi we've ever seen and arent like Kenobi where they have the same level of wisdom to account for the lack of ability with the force. Neither had formal training especially Ezra. Being taught by someone who almost completely taught themselves means you are mostly limited by what they know which in Celebs case is little to nothing. Ahsoka on the other hand wasnt just taught by anakin, she learnt alot from Kenobi and Plo as well, getting those different perspectives helped her immensely.

I know you say you don't do crossovers, but I don't know if this one could be considered a crossover since the species is part of the Star wars universe. My suggestion for a video is, "What if the Asogian "ET" was the chosen one." Thanks to the prequels we know ET's race are part of the Republic. We also see ET use possible Force abilities in the movie and was part of exploration party, and his occupation was botanist. So it's not outside the realm of possibilities that ET is a Jedi now but was not a powerful enough to pass the test. On ET wiki his skills and abilities are: Healing Levitation Botanopathy Telekinesis Immense IQ Adaptability

This is an amazing ‘what if!’ I totally like that you kept Palpatine alive until Return of the Jedi. I do think the confrontation would have been slightly different. I think it would have Vader continuing the difficulty against Luke after Luke tries to kill his father for threatening Leia. I think Vader would probably let the Death Star explode, and focus their firepower on solely eating away at the rebel fleet in its entirety. With the help of the Ewoks, the ground battle of Endor would succeed, but the space battle would fail. But Vader and Luke would leave the Death Star in the middle and head to either Mustafar, or Exagol. Luke is now lost, and Leia will become the Jedi. That’s how I think it’d go. I just think it’d be closer to Dark Empire, with Luke becoming the dark side apprentice.

What if Anakin fell to the dark side even after he killed Palpatine in Coruscant because when Padme gave birth to Luke and Leia, the Order refusing to change their ways, decided it was within their best interest to take them and have them be trained in the temple rather than have them living with their parents. Another theory I had is what if Rex stayed loyal to Anakin even after he turned into Vader and was one of the few people that knew Vaders true identity when the Empire was formed.

I really like this ending....buttttt any time Anakin gets a happy ending with his children hidden I have to wonder about the future. Eventually Luke at least is going to want to be a Jedi like his father. How will Anakin handle a 16 year old strong in the force teenager trying to do Jedi things? Eventually they would have to come out. I mean them being Padmes kids alone will make them known eventually and it wouldn't be hard for a Jedi to connect the dots.

sorry but there's a heck of a lot wrong with this. The darksaber was not Anakin's after beating Maul, because Maul didn't use it in the fight, also Maul never had claim to it as truly Obi-Wan had beaten Pre Vizsla earlier on when Vizsla was using the darksaber, so Obi-Wan is the real one who has claim to it, and also even if Anakin did have claim to it he couldn't give it to Bo Katan, that's not how that works, it can't be given, it has to be won in combat when the claimant of it is using it

OK, I did my 0.05% of getting this video to 2000 likes. The Jedi took a lot of things for granted. What did bringing balance to the force really mean. In that context, what did being the chosen one mean? If those things meant what the Jedi thought they meant, they really should have treated Anakin and his mother with a lot more care. In any case, this is one of the very few fan fics where Anakin does not kill the emperor. I liked it!

Honestly a part 2 would be a good. You could technically have either a malfunction happened with one of their Carbonite pods or since ventress is technically still alive have her release dooku or maul for some sort of revenge. And either after they're released or saved one of them could have learned of Anakin's children and tried to kidnap them to train them or by the time they released Luke and Leia would already be old enough to fight back. Another concept of maul is released he might find Ezra and actually make him his apprentice before the Jedi can get to him

1. Plo Koon would be there with Saese Tin and Obi-Wan. 2. Grievous would be on the bridge, not fighting alongside Dooku. Dooku would lose and would be captured, Grievous would escape though, and also even if Grievous didn't escape and was killed, that still wouldn't end the clone wars, as there were still millions of droids spread out across the galaxy fighting the Republic, Dooku and Grievous were merely the 2 main leaders of the Separatists, not the only leaders and certainly not the entirety of the Separatists

Anakin would not be able to beat Maul easily at all, he might be able to win, but it would be very difficult and would be a long drawn out fight. Also Anakin is not a superior duelist to Dooku, the only reason Anakin won their fight in ROTS was because Palpatine told Dooku to just toy with Anakin, because Palpatine wanted Anakin to give into his anger and kill Dooku. Also Dooku didn't leave the Jedi Order for personal reasons at all, he left because of Palpatine, that's shown in Tales Of The Jedi, which is canon

16:29 Yeah, that is not at all correct. If we’re going off of Clone Wars at the very least, it’s pretty evident Anakin knew Padme was pregnant. We even see her all ballooned up in Season 7. In the movies, I’m fairly confident he knew as well. It’s a minor detail, but it’s also a little important. Other than that, there are a few other issues, but I do agree with a lot of storyline decisions here. This is pretty solid. Well done!
