in my opinion, Kizaru not being recommended for Fleet Admiral is because he's shown no ability to lead an organized group. He seems kind of solitary, whereas Akainu and Aokiji are both pretty good at strategery, or capable of it. That said, we haven't seen Aokiji lead directly, but we know he's a pretty level headed guy

But let's go with your scenario, this happened when I think she was 9 right? She would be 10-11 when she dragon came for her in this scenario. Shes around 30 now meaning that she was on the run for roughly 20-23 years. In this case that shrinks to only 2. The revolutionaries act like a family, they train you, feed you, give you shelter, teach you. Robin would have made a lot of friends and that trauma probably would have been less potent because she'd be surrounded by other people who've had bad experiences too.

I know this is an older video, I’m just listening through while I’m at work but I just had a great thought about the theory involving Kuzan being a spy on Black Beard’s crew. Aokiji is with the other Titanic Captains facing off against the Marines led by Sakazuki, Aokiji is wearing a black coat with “Absolute Injustice” written on it. We see Aokiji facing off against Aikainu for a large part of it until things are coming to a stalemate. After some time Aikainu pulls out a coat that says “Burning Justice” with a small kanji saying secret on it. Aikainu states, “What are your orders, Fleet Commander?” Aokiji replies with, “Don’t let any of them get away.” And turns around to face a seething Black Beard.

If Aokiji became fleet admiral theres a good chance that he'd view the Strawhats as unofficial allies; you know, not like actual allies - the Marines would still hunt them down - but I could totally see like a backroom meeting where secretly he supports their decisions and actions and maybe even helps them in the confrontation with Big Mom / Kaido. Probably never actually directly help them unless he could convince the Cipher Polls to do it, but I could see him giving them intel or something to kind of drive them towards completing their objectives.

I was asking how far each of them might go, after all punching a celestial dragon in the face is a slap in the face to the world government so I could see Akainu causing some major damage in a fit of rage, doing his best to kill every single pirate, even if he wouldn't burn down the whole island. Meanwhile Aokiji is more level headed and might simply focus on taking down the major threats, making a beeline for Luffy, Kid (high body count), Xdrake ( Marine intel he probably knows), but probably leaving less pressing threats like Urougue alone unless he directly crosses his path.

Aokiji seems like the guy that would know: A. Luffy would be reckless enough to do that where it takes minutes for an Admiral to get dispatched. B. The Strawhats don't attack others unless provoked. He might just have just sent Kuma and the Pacifista deal with them and take a nap. If they got away that's not his problem. Akainu would have used the Buster Call and maybe go to Fishman Island and burn that place to the ground in case any of their Supernovas escaped.

I don't know if you have done this but I had a What If idea I had in the back of my head for years. What If Ace, Luffy and Sabo left together instead of separate like they left around the same time Luffy did in the beginning of series.

I just want to imagine how well Luffy would do in that scenario if he has all of his friends helping him. And when I say friends, I'm don't just mean his 8 other crew mates. I also mean Giants, Fishmen, Minks, Skypians/Shandorians, Dwarves, Skypians, other Supernovas, his +5000 man armada and just anybody that Luffy had befriended in his journey.

Post-timeskip? I don't think Tekking will explore a what-if scenario that is impossible. I don't think it would be very interesting personally, since you have to involve time-travel for the scenario to happen. I suppose it could happen without time-travel, but the number of story events that would need to be changed is huge.

That's the point of What Ifs. Canon and continuity takes a back seat in order to explore a particular scenario.

I agree, I'm just saying he has never done a what-if that breaks continuity like that. He usually examines certain events that could have gone differently and created an alternate timeline, which personally I am a fan of. I'm not sure if it's a what-if scenario at that point, that's more of a "who would win" video. Just my opinion though.

At the very end of the video tekking explained why Akainu had to win from a narrative standpoint. Luffy and his allies + the marines would swing the balance too much in his favor. Akainu would balance that out as his own sort of 3rd party if all 3 clashed in the final war

Akainu would not have left if Aokiji was the Fleet Admiral. Aokiji's temperament is very similar to that of Sengoku's and both share the same view of Moral Justice, hence why the recommendation. Akainu still served under Sengoku.

I think it’s more like Akainu respects Sengoku as his superior. He is not lazy and knows what he is doing. Aokiji however is a colleague. He respects him as a colleague, but won’t stand for him as a Fleet Admiral, given that he is lazy and such

Haki only "forces" your opponents body to take a "normal" form in the area of contact. It doesnt nullify the abulity. So i would say the ability gets canceled whether the victim uses haki or not.

Ornyxrex_97 Not necesarelly.If a swordsman covers his sword with haki,he would be able to cut Buggy. The point of getting a body solidify only works for Logias and similar fruits. Haki makes you bypass any devil fruit power.
